Anyway, as it seems every fecer is giving their team name, mine is Broadway Blueshirts. Don't be mad at me for having the name blue in my team name, I can't help it if the only other sports team I love wear Blue. And I refuse to have any Liverpool reference, or indeed Liverpool players in my team, as it'll fec 'em up, oh yes.

This is a very tricky issue. In previous years, by merely picking Liverpool players in my fantasy football team, they have suffered horrible injuries and missed lots of football. I try not to feel directly responsible, but somehow I feel it nevertheless.

 

And then there is the issue of picking players from teams such as Chelsea, Man U and Everton. Picking their players doesn't result in them being injured (how unfair is that?) , and I could never be happy with one of their players scoring, even if it led to me winning the league. But if I pick a team with no players from the top 4 (plus everton), there's not much point in taking part.

 

So apologies for the past injuries to Liverpool players and the goals scored by our rivals that have and will come as a direct result of my fantasy football actions.

every year I started with a Liverpool platyer, and guaranteed that player got off to a slow start. Last year it was Gerrard I started with. And he didn't score for ages. So now I'm not even bothering Learnt me lesson!
