What other signings do we need?

Now that we`ve signed up the backbone of our team and brought in Torres, what other positions do we need to fill up on?

I reckon we need at least another striker and a right and left-back.

I realise this is probably academic, as Rafa will already be on the lookout for decent players to shore up the squad to push for the title, but I wanted to get people`s ideas on players they feel would add to the team.

I don't think he needs to 'shore up the squad', we need to sign first team players.

I'd also place a top class winger above your striker and two full backs.

we need someone better at LM than last season, be it a fit kewell or someone new

we need someone better at RM than Pennant last season, be it Gerrard (given the amount of CM's i'm thinking Rafa might play him there) or someone new

 

we need backup to carra and agger, in case either gets injured. there's hyypia, but i'd like someone else decent that can play there. backup player, not first team.

 

that's three improvements for the first team, shouldn't shake us much more than necessary.

I'd like cover at CB. I'd like Chivu or Milito for it.

I'd also like a new LB but would only consider replacing Riise with Lahm.

 

We definitely need two wingers though. Two of Malouda, Mancini, Simao or Quaresma.

I'd say left winger and another versatile attacking player, someone like Benayoun I guess. A defender not worried about sitting on the bench would be helpful also. Those 3 players to add to Voronin, Leto, Lucas and Torres would equal a succesful transfer window imo.
