Stevie H Posted June 29, 2007 Posted June 29, 2007 it's even worth cissé's agent's c*** of a carbon footprint.
floyd Posted June 29, 2007 Posted June 29, 2007 Hope we stuck to the £8m fee that was reported last year. Probably go through as undisclosed though
theredfella Posted June 29, 2007 Posted June 29, 2007 Shame it never worked out as he seems like a decent fella but close the door on your way out, there's a good lad.
jimmylibel Posted June 29, 2007 Posted June 29, 2007 Shame it never worked out as he seems like a decent fella but close the door on your way out, there's a good lad. Talked a good game - didn't play one!
Kvarme Ate My Food Posted June 29, 2007 Posted June 29, 2007 I think he should be given a chanxce, would love to see him with Kuyt, it'd be just like Dalglish and Rush. Joking of course. f*** off Djibril, you oddball.
mooks Posted June 29, 2007 Posted June 29, 2007 It's good news if we get a decent fee. £6m would do just nicely.
Barnesy_10 Posted June 29, 2007 Posted June 29, 2007 good luck to him.... his on field attitude pissed me right off at times, but his fight to come back from both injuries showed an incredible spirit and determination..shame he didn't understand that with the pace he had there was no need to get caught offside so often, maybe he would still be here if he had. don't understand the 'f*** off' attitude on here though.... but yeah, good luck to him.
D.Boon Posted June 29, 2007 Posted June 29, 2007 good luck to him.... don't understand the 'f*** off' attitude on here though.... but yeah, good luck to him. Its strange he had some awful luck with us and just wanted to play football.
Benitez Posted June 29, 2007 Posted June 29, 2007 Its strange he had some awful luck with us and just wanted to play football. when he wasn't doing 'fashion' modelling or 'designing' those clothes, or getting a new hair-do or a new tat, football was always a sideline for Djibril, that was a problem! I do hope he can stay injury free though, he's had his fair share!
Kvarme Ate My Food Posted June 29, 2007 Posted June 29, 2007 just wanted to play football. never saw any evidence of 'football' from him anyway, I for one didn't really mean that he should f*** off glad to see the back of him, though
smicer07 Posted June 29, 2007 Posted June 29, 2007 Some nice respect on here for a guy who scored in cup finals for us.
Sion Posted June 29, 2007 Posted June 29, 2007 Some nice respect on here for a guy who scored in cup finals for us. Riise's scored in a cup final - that doesn't make him any less of a s***house in my book... Riise bashing again
Zoob Posted June 29, 2007 Posted June 29, 2007 I'm glad he's leaving and we're getting some money for him, but 6 million is a much better deal for Marseille than it is for us. He's almost certain to score 20 goals a season for them, and to get a striker like that for so little money, is good business.
Tones Posted June 29, 2007 Posted June 29, 2007 Dont think he was ever the player for us and im glad to get a fee for him. Wouldnt say f*** off to him. Still wish him the best of luck with his future.
Florist Cinema Pond Goal Posted June 29, 2007 Posted June 29, 2007 I really wanted to like Cisse, he arrived at a time when I for one felt aggreived about the whole Owen to Real saga and was ready to idolise a brand new star striker. The Chelsea semi at OT was what confirmed it, he simply wasn't a Rafa player. He possessed pace and power and it ensured he scored a fair few goals, but his team ethic wasn't sufficient for Benitez. "It’s difficult for a striker to go from being the star at one club to go to another club where there are four or five players who are at the same level or even better. If you want to win trophies, you need star players who can work for the team." http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/sport/foo...ticle593156.ece Thanks for the Istanbul pen, the FA Cup final goal and all the others Djibs.
Kite Posted June 29, 2007 Posted June 29, 2007 Never the kind to put his face where a boot might go, never delivered anything like his fees worth, never looked like a Rafa player. Awful return on investment but there's no place for him here so sooner gone the better
Billy Dane Posted June 29, 2007 Posted June 29, 2007 Treated like a dog is right. Not right for Rafa or his team ethic. Good luck to the lad.
Hassony Posted June 29, 2007 Posted June 29, 2007 Never the kind to put his face where a boot might go, never delivered anything like his fees worth, never looked like a Rafa player. Awful return on investment but there's no place for him here so sooner gone the betterthe fee was hardly his fault
