I just want to that I believe Andrei Voronin will become a cult figure amongst Liverpool supporters. We're talking Biscan levels of cult following here.

He's already reaching that kind of status by becoming our official scapegoat 6 months before actually arriving, and I've just got a feeling he'll turn out to be really quite good and a bit insane to boot.

That is all. :)

Cult players must be crap, so it he's any good he'll not qualify.

Crouch was a cult player till he scored.

Salif was a bit of a cult.

To be a real cult figure he's got to be pretty average, but does brilliant things now and again, like Biscan in the CL vs Depor, last minute winner vs Bolton etc... Also has to look strange - passes that test already!

So playing s*** then scoring a last minute winner at the Stadium of Wet Dreams will do me.

I can't believe people are talking about selling him in January

Hark at the big Superfan!

He' done f*ck all in a Red shirt, lad, face it.

It would be better to loan him out to a league where'll we'll get almost no coverage. There'll be rumours about whether he plays, training ground fights and badly translated quotes where he says its his dream to play for the kop fans.

We should sell him now, save six months' wages.

We should have sold him last summer.

I think that looking strange is probably the most important prerequisite for cult status.

voron-out.

You put your Voronin,

You take your Voron-out,

In, out, in, out,

Rotate him all about...

You play him in the hole

and he scores a goal,

And that's what it's all about.

 I know left my coat somewhere...

thought he looked a good player in the world cup last year.

I thought that too.Oddly enough I actually remembered his name, and was quite pleased when we signed him.

I think he'll surprise a few people,he's certainly no Mad Erik or,even worse,a Crocodile.

Anyone who can do that has to be worth bringing in on a free.

Honestly, in my opinion that is technically one of the best goals you'll ever see at any level. To keep that ball low enough to go under the bar with the way it bounced up, and at the same time direct it on that angle is absolutely astonishing. He doesn't exactly swing at it either - it's beautifully controlled.

I think he'll prove to be a quality squad player - and I think he'll become a cult hero firstly because he'll score the odd belter, but also because of how he looks as much as anything.

He looks mental.
