We've been blessed with some crackers this season (not that they helped us win any trophies ), but which is your favourite?

Crouch at West Ham - would have graced any Liverpool side.

Alonso v the Geordies.

 

Only because everyone knew he was capable of doing that. To do it twice, even if the keeper slipped, is still quite an outstanding goal. It takes talent and skill to pull that off twice. Once might be a fluke but twice is something special.

For sheer effect I loved the 2 goals in 2 mins against Bolton on New Year's day. Both excellent goals, resulting from excellent build up.

At the moment I think mine is Agger's against West Ham.

Crouch v West Ham and Pennant's for me. Pennant's strike makes Agger's look simple by comparison.

Kuyt v Hammers

Crouches third vs Arsenal. Superb skill, our best this season skillwise. From a raw emotion pov then Agger v Chavs in the semi final.

We scored a brilliant team effort at Watford. Alonso and Gerrard exchanged passes and sent Bellamy through, and I think Kuyt (or Crouchy) tapped it in.

 

30-40 yard (70 for Xabi) screamers are great but we need more 'team goals' consistently.

Have to agree, simply sublime that goal was.

 

Gotta love Xabi's goal though, especially the celebration - running to Pepe. Had forgotten about that. Surely any goal where the keeper is involved in the mass celebration is a stand out.

I agree. From the moment Gerrard intercepted the ball to Xabi's calm play, Bellamy's through ball, Riise's pass and the finish. Sublime

I really enjoyed Kuyt's goal against Wigan away for 3:0. Reina quick ball to Gerrard, pass to Garcia, perfectly weighted ball back to Gerrard, through ball for Bellamy who - on a hat trick - passes it for an easy finish for Kuyt.
