spacemonkey Posted May 25, 2007 Posted May 25, 2007 A slightly unusual call for help: I'm trying to get a basic understanding of the circumstances surrounding the murder of a Croatian cruise ship engineer last month as we're trying to see what can be done to help the poor widow. Unfortunately the only information of any depth is in Croatian (at leat I think that's what it is!) and online translation services are not particularly helpful! I gather from an English article that he was shot in the head in a cafe in Dubrovnik by a retired nurse with a history of mental problems and that the killer subsequently turned himself in. What I'm trying to find out, though, is who the victim was with at the time (sounds like another mariner), whether anyone else was hurt, whether the killer has now been convicted and if so what his motives were found to be. Any help of any kind would be greatly appreciated. Article Google search
