Shevchenko Signed a 4-Year Contract With Chelsea at what £6 mill a year wages with 3 years to go.

So there is still £18m of value in the contract.

Milan are not going to offer anything like the 30 they received, More like 15m.

So for this to happen Roman has to sanction a 15 mill right off and a massive player contract of say another 15m

with means signing him will have cost roman 30 mill loss plus another 6 for his wages this year making a total of £36m for 1 years football.

This deal will only be possible if sheva asks for the transfer.

Cheaper to get rid of the one called maureen

by all accounts it was Roman who went for Sheva, not Jose

I'm 100% certain that Sheva will still be at Chelsea next season.

hope so. Makes it more likely they won't be in for our targets.

Chelsea will just write it off and stick him in the reserves

I never understood why a player's contract was paid up if they were sold. Its not like they don't get another one. Doesn't seem right.

As I understand it, roughly it's because players contracts thesedays are for a given amount (eg Stevei G 6m over 4 years etc - renogtiable if the club try and tie the player down for longer) so if a club actively sells the player, they have to complete the amount as the player did not ask for the move so his contract has to be paid off in good faith. If the playr asks for the move, then unless the club have screwed up their contract is not paid up as the player is technically the 'defaulter'.

He's a chum of Abramovich - so i can't see that happening.
