- Had a couple of dodgy moments at the start of the season, but has been fantastic otherwise. More clean sheets than any other keeper in the league, reads the game brilliantly and gives confidence to the defence. Hardly 'unconvincing'.

Always used to tip us for the title when he was at the Observer. Year after year.

Can I please request a "normal" game rather than our heart wrenching, nerve shredding final?

 

Birmingham in 2001 we managed to cling on to a lead until the 80th+ minute and ended up on pens

 

Arsenal in 2001 we were beaten to death by Arsenal for 80 minutes until Mikey popped up

 

Alaves in 2001 we managed to throw leads away with gay abandon and ended up at 4-4 (of all bloody scores) after 90 minutes. Only an own goal saw us through.

 

AC in 2005...

 

West Ham in 2006 with an injury time equaliser...

 

 

How about a boring old win like we did against ManU in our last Worthington Cup win. You know, boring and forgettable but one which leaves finger nails in tact and liver able to recover.
