Being skint as usual weeks before payday, we've been discussing some things in work that we've done when really skint. I remember one christmas giving my mrs a lovespoon that I'd made as her main present and my mate was so skint he had to draw a picture of his mrs on the night of christmas eve! Talk about pressure! I saw the pic and he aged her about 10 years and gave her a bigger nose than usual! Still, he framed it and it was the thought that counts...

 

Any funny stories about things you've done when absolutely broke?
