As I clearly haven't a hope of a ticket for the final, I'm wondering whether anyone is planning on watching the match in London and if so, where? If there's enough interested we may be able to organise something.

Kings Head, Essex Road. Islington. Saw the second-leg there - that went ok so won't be changing - decent atmosphere too.

Kings Head was good but there wasn't that may of us (50 if that?). Anyone heard of any bigger venues? God I miss the ETB at times like this :(

Decided against the trip to Athens?

I think there is Walkabout near Embankment which is offering free entry to all wearing red on the night.

Temple it is. Was apparently very busy last time

Gee, how generous - a pub offering free entry

And a fecking Walkabout. Surely only the crimally insane or the Antopodean would go there?

Me and the london guys from Est1892 will be down at the Greenman pub (Riding House Street, nearest tube goodge St)

Decent size, lots of tvs and full of Reds.

All are welcome, email is in profile if further details are needed.

I think that's where I watched England's opening World Cup match last year - it was rammed. There was a queue of people outside hoping to be allowed in. Was good though.

Only time I've ever watched Liverpool there was the first half of the 2005 final. Not going back there...

Get there for the second half then.

I was in that Walkabout for the 2005 final. Rammed full of Reds, but had to get there early to get in. I thought the atmosphere was top notch, and as soon as we won the DJ played YNWA and We Are the Champions which caused a frenzied sing along!

Still deciding whether to go back there this year.

Likewise mate - atmosphere was great in there last time round. Was a pain in the a*** to get served though & the bouncers werent too friendly. Would defo advise anyone going to get there early.

On a side note, wasn't it free entry on 2005?

Why would you pay to get into a pub? F*ck ?atmosphere?, I just want to see the screen and drink.

You going to watch it at home then?

a walkabout isn't even a pub. it's a student union full of shouting australians all vomiting up snakebite and black. f***ing horrrible places.

The Alexander - Clapham Common

A decent pint, lots of screens, plenty of Reds and maybe even a few Chelsea to take the p*ss out of as well.

If you can't afford to go to Athens you could do a lot worse.
