I'm down south and there seems to be nothing on the offal.

Is there anyhting in The Echo about the ballot and selling arrangments?

Did anybody get any mail from the club today concerning the ballot?

http://www.liverpoolfc.tv/tickets/ticket_i...3a_20070523.htm

They start at 12-10, then go to 9-7.

"Fans with SIX 06/07 Champions League games (excluding the qualifiers) on Fancard will be entered into a computerised ballot. Successful supporters will be written to advising them on how to claim their ticket."

It doesn't mention how we enter the ballot though. Maybe everyone with 6 will be in it, whether they can go or not, which seems a bit strange.

This was meant to be clarified in an announcement today and was what I was referring to.

No rush Rick lad!

seems to imply that people will be entered into the ballot automatically

where did you hear this?

Its in the announcement.

Here

"Season Ticket and Fan card holders who have purchased a ticket for a minimum of SIX Champions League games (excluding the qualifiers) this season will be entered into a computerised ballot. Successful supporters will be written to advising them on how to claim their ticket.

Details of successful season ticket and fan card ballot holders will be available on the LFC web site from Wednesday 9th May. "

Seems like sensible planning to me - do the ballot and tell people to enable them to claim them and pay for them - and collect them at the Charlton game (which will be a madhouse of course, but...) under the assumption that they will shift tickets to all those with 7+ credits, shares etc

Then go back and mop up any leftover tickets with more people from the ballot (I assume)

As tickets can't be replaced they will want to give people the best chance to collect them I suppose

I can't see anyone without 7 not claiming a ticket

Parry said on Radio City they would let people who want to apply together for the ballot. Another lie then

Oh and 16779 tickets? where did the other 221 go?

Think he said they would try and "find a way".

Computerised ballot = Dodgy Excel Macro

well they didn't try very f***ing hard

I was thinking about this.

I'm not suprised that they've given that idea the a*** for 2 reasons.

1. Them that get in will stand with their mates more than likely anyway.

2. Given that a good percentage of a group might well miss out they probably think it's a waste of time.

anyone know how many people are in the ballot and what will happen to tickets of people who qualify but choose not to go??
