honourablegeorge Posted May 2, 2007 Posted May 2, 2007 ....he went to Gerrard after the pens last night, big hug, and wished him good luck for the final, despite being absolutely gutted. Not often you see a bit of class from that lot.
Cunny Posted May 2, 2007 Posted May 2, 2007 I thought it was Gerrard that went to him and the rest of the Chelsea players.
honourablegeorge Posted May 2, 2007 Author Posted May 2, 2007 I thought it was Gerrard that went to him and the rest of the Chelsea players. Either way, he wished Gerrard well.
Mike Posted May 2, 2007 Posted May 2, 2007 he did the same last time.he's a class player. brilliant centre half, total beast of a player.
Ben 23 Posted May 2, 2007 Posted May 2, 2007 I thought it was Gerrard that went to him and the rest of the Chelsea players. It was and then he ran off to find the tank afterwards.
Conor Posted May 2, 2007 Posted May 2, 2007 It was and then he ran off to find the tank afterwards. Is he still looking? If he finds him he should get a prize. Finding Lampard in big game is like Where's Wally.
Falconhoof Posted May 2, 2007 Posted May 2, 2007 he's a big girl and can f*** off. He's got racist eyes and big fluffy baby hair.
G Richards Posted May 2, 2007 Posted May 2, 2007 I thought Terry showed some class at the end, unlike Maureen and his scandalous postmatch interview.
Andy Mac Posted May 2, 2007 Posted May 2, 2007 The image of Terry, Lampard and Mourinho standing in the centre circle at Anfield will be the one I'll take from the match. They just looked totally f***ing dejected and wrecked. I reckon they all knew that was their best shot at them going on to win the European Cup together. It's almost certain that one of them won't be there next season.. what with Terry stalling on a contract, Lampard being courted by the Spanish giants and Mourinho being a total failure in Europe despite his pots of money..... I reckon Steven Gerrard said to Terry "You can stick your England captaincy up yer a***, you'll never lift the European Cup like I have"
floyd Posted May 2, 2007 Posted May 2, 2007 Lampard being courted by the Spanish giantsThat cvnt's level is Gimnàstic or Levante.
Kahnee Posted May 2, 2007 Posted May 2, 2007 That cvnt's level is Gimnàstic or Levante. Bit harsh on those two sides
Flight Posted May 2, 2007 Posted May 2, 2007 Terry was a right snidey, cheating ****, like most of his team last night. In the first few minutes, after a tackle from Stevie, he got up with him ok then as soon as Stevie turned his back he was making gestures at the ref that Stevie had gone into him with his elbow, when he hadn't. They have some great players, but they'll never have any class until they sort out their cheating. How they didn't get more bookings over the two legs for diving is beyond me.

No coincidence this, as his Porto team gave the best/worst display of it against Celtic in the UEFA final
DanielS Posted May 2, 2007 Posted May 2, 2007 (edited) I agree with Flight. Terrt speny the entire game waving imaginary cards at the referee whenever a Chelsea player touched the turf with anything other than their feet. Nasty piece of work during a game, but at least he can lose with a bit of dignity - same cannot be said for most of his team mates or manager. Edited May 2, 2007 by DanielS
Bailo Posted May 2, 2007 Posted May 2, 2007 One of the most satisfying images in football is watching Terry cry.

Guest Snorky Posted May 2, 2007 Posted May 2, 2007 What would you say to Terry being in a Liverpool shirt next season ?
cymrococh Posted May 2, 2007 Posted May 2, 2007 Carragher and Terry would be a terrifying prospect for any striker.
sean Posted May 2, 2007 Posted May 2, 2007 What would you say to Terry being in a Liverpool shirt next season ? That'd be unbelievable, but I'm thinking Agger might end up a better centre back. While he won't enjoy the nitty gritty of defending as much as Terry, he'll be better all round. Distribution being the only area Terry could be criticised for.
Jambo Posted May 2, 2007 Posted May 2, 2007 he did the same last time.he's a class player. brilliant centre half, total beast of a player. He's a hateful c*** in every way
