Agreed. That was the most disgusting post-match inteview I have ever seen. That guy interviewing Mourinho should never work again..c***. for the sake of the argument though the reason the (non)foul by Kuyt was mentioned to Maureenho was obvious - they were trying to extract a good moan out of him about the slightest thing. If I was the production manager in charge of interviews I'd have pushed the same agenda. Think of it as a rope to hang himself with.

what??? I watched the game on RTE only.. I have sky etc but i didnt even flip over. RTE are pretty much the best for football matches.. I am suprised to hear this about ITV though.. it was obvious to anyone that liverpool were by so many miles the team to be tonight and even overall . I sat next to a mad Utd fan tonight who watched the game under clear instructions to not wreck my mood if things were going wrong and he openly admitting without even being questioned, that liverpool were by far the better team overall. People forget that we had our pressure int he stamford bridge tie.. we had a lot fo the ball in the 2nd half.. we didnt do much with it but tonight ... what did chelsea do?? Im not saying they were s*** or anything.. if they were then theyd have lost by 4 or 5 cause we were totally up for it.. we were so fired up that nobody would have left anfield with anything other than goals conceeded.

 

Liverpool were brilliant tonight and I'm just so bloody happy about it. I was pretty down on things after the first result but after a few days I remembered how special a place anfield is... The players know that they have performed in yet another anfield night.

Thats the way I saw it. They were desperate for him to say something controversial.

 

ITV are a shambles. Fat Sam said he thought we were unlucky that we even had to go to penalties as we should have won it in normal time, then Maureen made the unbelievable statement that Chelsea were the better team, it went back to the studio and The Walrus says "yeah, maybe Chelsea were the better team in terms of possession of the ball"

Didn't think the ITV panel were really that bad to be honest.

 

Oh their coverage was the normal succession of adverts occassionally interrupted by some football, but the panel acknowledged that we were the better team (even Fat Sam and he's a c***) and they pointed out that Jose had hardly covered himself in glory recently.

 

Let's not go looking for a fight when there isn't one.

 

We won, Chelsea lost, Jose looked like he'd just be punched in the stomach, and I'm fairly sure I saw Lampard cry.

Agreed, ITV are f***ing woeful.

 

Not just that, no match build up because of f***ing Emmerdale, then having Sky+ 'd the match the recording ended early (saw it, but missed Gerrard etc on the Sky +) because they failed to alter the programming times once extra time had got underway.

 

OT - (...and they cant even be arsed to put any programmes on after midnight, its that brainless phone in show with that dosile bint and stupid c***. FFS.)
