Redkop Posted April 28, 2007 Posted April 28, 2007 Peter Walton is a late replacement for Steve Bennett.
Earl Hafler Posted April 28, 2007 Posted April 28, 2007 So who's Rafa going to play today ? Alan Navarro ?
stressederic Posted April 28, 2007 Posted April 28, 2007 If Richie Partridge doesn't start today, it's a farce.
Mike E Posted April 28, 2007 Posted April 28, 2007 From the offish: The Liverpool team for today's game is: Dudek Insua Hyypia Paletta Arbeloa Zenden Alonso Sissoko Gonzalez Bellamy Fowler Subs: Padelli Pennant Kuyt El Zhar Hobbs

Sion Posted April 28, 2007 Posted April 28, 2007 Interesting to see how young Insua does! Pennant being on the bench suggests to me he's a starter on tuesday!
sbaros Posted April 28, 2007 Posted April 28, 2007 Feck me I'm happy with that.. don't know about Dudek and Zenden but thrilled to see 4 youngsters in the 16 man squad, and especially Insúa starting.. nice to see Fowler aswell..
Chili Palmer Posted April 28, 2007 Posted April 28, 2007 didn't epect that team.. I did, only worry would be Alonso playing.
Ben 23 Posted April 28, 2007 Posted April 28, 2007 (edited) I'd prefer to see Lindfield than El Zhar. I guess Craig is too tired/hung over after Thursday though. Anderson's missing out completely as well, would rather see him on the right with Zenden and Sissoko in the middle and Alonso rested. Edited April 28, 2007 by Ben 23
Cam Posted April 28, 2007 Posted April 28, 2007 Under normal circumstances I'd love to see that weakened side for a meaningless match at the end of a season. But given the laid back-ness of the first team in recent matches and the influence that had on the first-half showing against Chelsea I'd have been happier with a full-strength side going out there today with instructions to give 100%.

The match is too close for that Cam, if the match was another week away I would agree. Chelsea have suffered from having to play their top players.
Kite Posted April 28, 2007 Posted April 28, 2007 (edited) Not exactly a massive build up to this one, was there! Missed seeing the line up above - that's a great line up for today, look forward to seeing some of them in action Edited April 28, 2007 by Mr Kite

Peter Walton is a late replacement for Steve Bennett. You're kidding Walton is awful, looks and refs like Stig of the Dump.
Kite Posted April 28, 2007 Posted April 28, 2007 surprised Alonso is playing though, he looked wrecked the other night
Cunny Posted April 28, 2007 Posted April 28, 2007 does anyone think we'll actually win this game? I don't, it would be a tough game at full strength, think Pompey will win.
