surf Posted April 25, 2007 Posted April 25, 2007 I wish i was his girlfriend cause he goes down a lot. ***** ******* ****** He spent half the game on the floor feigning injury. He's two by feckin two yet a little tap or nudge and he's down on the grass for two minutes. Annoys me no end. How he escaped a yellow card for the constant diving i'll never know.
Guest RedLegend Posted April 25, 2007 Posted April 25, 2007 I wish we had someone who could handle marking him.
Tosh Posted April 25, 2007 Posted April 25, 2007 I wish we had someone who could handle marking him.Or just someone like him up front...

Yeah, he's a bit of a c*** alright...................still, I'd be happy if he played for us, the fecker
surf Posted April 25, 2007 Author Posted April 25, 2007 I wish we had someone who could handle marking him. Agger should have t****** him for their goal. He'd have spent the next 15 minutes on the floor rolling around crying though. How come someone who is built like an ox, strong on the ball, strong in the air, wins most of the challenges gets away with feigning injuries and stopping play after nothing tackles. First minute at Anfield give him a kick in the nuts like Mikel today, that'll learn him.
Bootle Buck Posted April 25, 2007 Posted April 25, 2007 (edited) The C*** is an expert on pretending he is dead to stop the play and break down any positive move from the opposition. Worse than that is the Ref never adds the 5 minutes on he spends rolling around in agony. Having said that I wish to God her was "our diving c**" our defnce never seems to know what to do with him. He makes Carra look like average. Edited April 25, 2007 by Bootle Buck
Lee W Posted April 25, 2007 Posted April 25, 2007 He's like Ronaldo. Very good player, but a cheating, diving s***house.

surf Posted April 25, 2007 Author Posted April 25, 2007 Not sure who deserves the kick in the nuts more, him or Joe Cole. Drogba's a diving c***, Cole's a smug c***. Both as bad as easc other.
Billy Dane Posted April 25, 2007 Posted April 25, 2007 MOM tonight, we just don't know how to handle him. It was the same when he was with Marseille. Doesn't dive "quite" as much as he used to.
John am Rhein Posted April 25, 2007 Posted April 25, 2007 How come someone who is built like an ox, strong on the ball, strong in the air, wins most of the challenges gets away with feigning injuries and stopping play after nothing tackles. Because he's good at it. He's the best. I hold Arbeloa more responsible than Agger for that goal. Agger would have to be a world class player to deal with Drogba in that situation.
Maldini Posted April 25, 2007 Posted April 25, 2007 He f***ing destroyed us tonight, I think we won one header against him.
Gary Wolf Posted April 25, 2007 Posted April 25, 2007 The way he helps Chelski out game after game, Roman should have erected him a monument. Without Drogba they wouldn't stand a chance and not only against Liverpool.
Benzo-13 Posted April 25, 2007 Posted April 25, 2007 Think defenders should stand a yard of him when jumping so when the ball is coming down he's off balance.. Easier said than done though, especially in the heat of battle. He needs a proper challenge on him too.. I.e. a bad one.

Agger would have to be a world class player to deal with Drogba in that situation. Well, it should have been Riise where Agger was of course....but anyway, tackling Drogba, even a foul tackle, is preferable to letting him get past you and putting the cross in. Anyway, this thread is about Drogba being a cheating diving c***, so feck off with the logic

I noticed Carragher was trying to jump into him rather than challenge for the ball itself. Probably the best approach, TBH.
spencer Posted April 25, 2007 Posted April 25, 2007 Drogba was brilliant. Rafa should say to G&T - get me a player like that and I'll give you the league. Forget the diving - he was the only reason we lost tonight.
Billy Dane Posted April 25, 2007 Posted April 25, 2007 Should have taken Jose's advice and got him booked.
Benzo-13 Posted April 25, 2007 Posted April 25, 2007 I noticed Carragher was trying to jump into him rather than challenge for the ball itself. Probably the best approach, TBH. Probably?? Or just mark space off him. There has to be a way to play him. The Italians would figure it out? Didn't Rafa's Valencia beat his Marseille in the UEFA final?? Who marked him?? He's the Mick Harford of this generation though albeit without the balls.
John am Rhein Posted April 25, 2007 Posted April 25, 2007 He's f*ckinjg immense, but he's only one player. The way to stop him is to stop the other players on his team.
Dominus Maximus Posted April 25, 2007 Posted April 25, 2007 Agger couldn''t do much about the goal. Where was his back-up? Arbeloa where were you? Anyways, anyone noted agger gesticulating the "crybaby" towards Drogba in the end... Brilliant......
Billy Dane Posted April 25, 2007 Posted April 25, 2007 We need the front line to stop the long ball being launched by the Chelsea defence. I would also play Sami next week, with Carra there to pick up the knock downs.

I'd rather we had Finnan playing so the back 4 unit is just familar and take it from there.
Beardsley Posted April 25, 2007 Posted April 25, 2007 He took the p*ss out of Agger and Carra tonight. We just couldn't handle him at all. Clearly MOM. In the return game, we need to put heavy preassure on their passers. Chelsea was very good at instantly coming up to our players when we had the ball, not giving us time on the ball at all. Alonso was our MOM today. Why Rafa took him out only Rafa knows.
