Huyton_Red Posted April 24, 2007 Posted April 24, 2007 Just hit me smack in the stomach.... Reading all the build up today its just hit me how big a game this is tommorow I have had a strange indifference to this match for the last few weeks, didnt really think about it to much but its just whacked me F'ckin ell, european cup semi final again lads Game on
DJM Posted April 24, 2007 Posted April 24, 2007 Aye, it hit me today too. Cant really concentrate on work - although that might just be an excuse
andyc Posted April 24, 2007 Posted April 24, 2007 For the fifth consecutive morning now I've woke up at 6 o clock on the button. The thoughts of a Liverpool Man U final goin' 'round my head. Massive. Hopefully tomorrow night is another step on the road to no. 6. Massive massive game. As an Irish Red, due to work and lack of tickets I can't go to either games. What I do hope is that every single Liverpool fan in Stamford Bridge tomorrow and Liverpool next week understand the importance of this game. If you're there sing ffs! It's not acceptable to go home either night without a hoarse throat. Think back to 2005 and the great nights we had. We're on the brink of something massive now. The thoughts of liftin no. 6 gives me a lump in my throat. Best of luck to everyone goin tomorrow and safe trip. Another thing aswell, I can't get this campione song outta my head. Quality stuff! Hope that gets a good airin tomorrow night. Rant over hope this fits in this thread huyton!
Conor Posted April 24, 2007 Posted April 24, 2007 (edited) I have had a knot in my stomach since Thursday. And I dare not even think of a Liverpool and United final. I'll be getting out of dodge if that happens. No matter what happens though the lads have done us proud and once again the good people who have had the opportunity to make it to the games in the CL this year have proved we are the greatest fans in the world. Eskimo Posted April 24, 2007 Posted April 24, 2007 I had given up smoking for a month before the 2005 semi and was finding it pretty easy going, that was until kick-off, smoked a pack by half-time
Guz Posted April 24, 2007 Posted April 24, 2007 Exams all this week, f***ing b******s timing or what. But dunno what I'm more nervous about!
Guest Snorky Posted April 24, 2007 Posted April 24, 2007 Don't what you are worried about. Our players are fresh and focused with no distractions. I watched the players warm-down after the Wigan game and the level of fitness was outstanding. Jose is more scared of Rafa than vice versa, the pressure is on Chelsea to get a result. Against Newcastle, Chelsea did not look like they were going through the motions, they looked tired and void of ideas. Things are not going their way at the moment and that will be at the back of their minds. We've yet to score at Chelsea under Rafa never mind win, both of those facts will change tomorrow. Me worried.........................
Tosh Posted April 24, 2007 Posted April 24, 2007 Oh shoite "Mr doom and gloom the sky is falling in" is not worried Folks, I think it's time to be s*** scared

Paul B Posted April 24, 2007 Posted April 24, 2007 This is exactly what we don't want or need. Let's only post positive stuff, eh? Let's not let our weak-bladdered, wet-knickered "nerves" (or fear as it's known round our way) infect our supporters or players, eh? If you MUST be negative, please keep a lid on it and keep it to yourself. Let's remain 100% confident and if you can't, do the team a favour and stay away until next Thursday.

Haven't been smoking for the past 6 months or so, but fully expect a repeat performance if we make it to Athens I directly attribute two of my "lucky cigarettes" to both Stevie and Vlad's goals in the final too.
