Shadow Moon Posted April 22, 2007 Posted April 22, 2007 That stupid graphic simulation is not anywhere near conclusive evidence or "proof" that the ball did not cross the line. It only raises the question of whether the ref and linesman were in the best viewing position to make the decision to award the goal. Not in best position to see DOES NOT imply goal was never scored.
Cheesecake Posted April 22, 2007 Author Posted April 22, 2007 but it proves that they are c****!case closed! c**** f*** em!
Gomez Posted April 22, 2007 Posted April 22, 2007 Any f*cker can draw a picture and claim it is representative of what happened. Didn't ITV's graphics 'prove' it was over the line? Both can't be right. One thing is certain, the referee bottled it, if he played advantage for the Cech foul he should still have sent the dirty c*nt off
Guest Prongsy Posted April 22, 2007 Posted April 22, 2007 Chelsea fans seem to believe that if that goal wasn't given that they would have won the game. THEY DIDN'T SCORE YOU *******! The truth is, and the ref has said publicly, that if the goal wasn't given then he would have sent Cech off and given a penalty to Liverpool. Why can't they get this into their head.

surf Posted April 22, 2007 Posted April 22, 2007 you're underestimating the importance of the away goal, they would have preferred losing 2-1
Paul B Posted April 22, 2007 Posted April 22, 2007 I hope it didn't cross the line! Anything that makes 'em even more bitter can only be good for us.

koppper Posted April 22, 2007 Posted April 22, 2007 Where's the link to the video from the crowd by the corner flag showing it had crossed the line? Ahhh...who cares...
Ste M Posted April 22, 2007 Posted April 22, 2007 Mr. Michel said he would have sent Cech off and awarded the penalty if his linesman hadn't signalled goal. People can say what they want, do what they want - we won.
kacangpool Posted April 22, 2007 Posted April 22, 2007 "Luis said to me that as he turned away, he was right on the line, and he said the ball was over the line. And after the game my secretary Sheila, who was sitting right in line in the main stand, said to me that the ball had crossed the line. She is a very honest person and that was good enough for me. It was a goal."

Ahhh...who cares...http://www.overcast.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/l...dia/gallas1.avi Quote Dr Mike Spann, a lecturer at Birmingham University's School of Electronic, Electrical and Computer Engineering, assessed a series of still images, taken from a variety of angles, at the moment of scoring and in the fractions of a second just before and after the ball crossed the line. The positioning and body movements of Chelsea's William Gallas, who tried to clear Luis Garcia's shot with his right foot, as well as the movement of the ball relative to Gallas, led Dr Spann to conclude: "It was a goal." The diameter of Tuesday's match ball, a size 5 Adidas Finale, was 22cm (or 8.8 inches) so Gallas' right boot needed to be only nine inches behind the line on impact for a goal. Dr Spann deduced from the position of Gallas' left foot that his right foot swung at the ball from "a good foot" behind the goalline, with the parabola before impact increasing the distance.
Flight Posted April 22, 2007 Posted April 22, 2007 f*** em. Anyone got a link to that Irish radio thing, where the bloke does the impersonation of Maureen singing with his team. Comedy genius that stuff.
Jeff guitar Posted April 22, 2007 Posted April 22, 2007 Aaah gallas and his amazing moving foot! I was in line with it at the back of the paddock. Was deffo over, Sky are just a bunch of c***s. At the end of the day who cares it was given, thats all that matters. Now lets do it all over again.

To not see that as anything other than a peno and red card is just madness... but let people say what they like.. it doesnt matter. you dont hear us still bitching about the desicions in past games with chelsea etc that have gone against us... why? cause we have quite enough to smile about and if they only have bitterness, then so be it. Earl Hafler Posted April 22, 2007 Posted April 22, 2007 kacangpool said: Full report here The white blur in the photo is Gallas' boot. I don't think the full ball crossed the line. However, Mourinho can moan all he likes as it should have been a pen and a sending off. " This is a hugely accurate system we're using " So why do they have Garcia on the pitch as Gallas hits the ball when in the video he's off it ?!
