speeding question

hi guys

anyone in Liverpool ever been done speeding on hillfoot road? the road that leads to Speke, got the Hillfoot pub on it, and its between Wingray auto's and Asda...

I travel down it on my way to work ever day...

well a week and 2 days ago I was going down it a little over 40mph (its a 40mph zone), I had to get past a t*** in an Audi who was on his phone), anyway, there was a police woman stood there with a camera.. immediately I put the brakes on and went past thinking I have deffo been done.... gutted etc etc..

anyway, not heard anything yet.... but this morning I was going down the same stretch of road, but doing 36mph as I was prepared in case they were there again..... they were... and I was thinking 'get in.. you aint got me this time', and as I went past the guy with the camera stuck his hand out and did a waving up and down gesture as if to say slow down..... I was doing UNDER 40mph.... its a 40mph road.... I presumed he was waving me in for something else as I was deffo under the limit, but he wasn't waving me in.. so I carried on..

has anyone been done by them? I am wondering whether they are just doing vehicle checks rather than speed checks ... hence why he may have waved me to slow down not knowing what speed I was doing...

if I get a ticket for that I will be fuming.
