Guest Snorky Posted April 16, 2007 Posted April 16, 2007 He values his friendship with Carra and Stevie too much for this to happen.
Leo No.8 Posted April 16, 2007 Posted April 16, 2007 Much though I loved Owen when he was here and don't bear him any ill will despite the way he left, his career is and always has been number one. I think if he felt it was the right move for him he'd go regardless. Whether it actually happens is a different matter, I just he'd be too much of a risk for any of the top clubs with his injury record.
cymrococh Posted April 16, 2007 Posted April 16, 2007 Made me laugh when I saw that Freddy Shepherd threatened to ban him from playing for England until they get compensation. Bed. Lie . In. It.
Stevie H Posted April 16, 2007 Posted April 16, 2007 Made me laugh when I saw that Freddy Shepherd threatened to ban him from playing for England until they get compensation. Bed. Lie . In. It.i know. "england haven't so much as paid for an aspirin". silly old tw*t.

Nothing would be a surprise with Owen, unless he was to show loyalty that didn't work for his career.
ManxRed Posted April 16, 2007 Posted April 16, 2007 If this happens, would that mean Newcastle would be nailed on certainties to win the Champions League next season?
Guest Scot Posted April 16, 2007 Posted April 16, 2007 If this happens, would that mean Newcastle would be nailed on certainties to win the Champions League next season? Michael is a Jonah
sutty Posted April 16, 2007 Posted April 16, 2007 They said on sly that he can go for 10 million this summer. If he does that, he might as well rotate his newcastle top 90 degrees, put on a black mask and put the 8 million quid in a bag marked SWAG.
Bootle Buck Posted April 16, 2007 Posted April 16, 2007 It wouldn't surprise me in the least. A chance to come back to the NW and form a partnership with his England co-hort Rooney. He would probably score a bagful too.
Tones Posted April 16, 2007 Posted April 16, 2007 I think he would jump at the chance to join the mancs.
Rimbeux Posted April 16, 2007 Posted April 16, 2007 Michael Owen would be mad not to join Man Utd if they come in for him, it will be one of the easier decision he's made in his life

floyd Posted April 16, 2007 Posted April 16, 2007 Would 20,000 Geordies turn up to wave him goodbye??
Kvarme Ate My Food Posted April 16, 2007 Posted April 16, 2007 He values his friendship with Carra and Stevie too much for this to happen. I disagree
Ostrich Man Posted April 16, 2007 Posted April 16, 2007 I think he would jump at the chance to join the mancs.boring wee runt would land awkwardly and be out for a full season.
kacangpool Posted April 16, 2007 Posted April 16, 2007 Nothing against Mikey, but such a move to Old Trafford might just jinx the Mancs.

I think you'll find that if he rotates his shirt 90 degrees, then one sleeve would be sticking out of his chest and the other sticking out of his shoulder blades, and hence it would be unwearable. I think you'll find that you meant to type 180 degrees. Yours,A Pendant (Mrs)

I think you'll find that you meant to type 180 degrees. Yours,A Pendant (Mrs)I think you'd find that if the top were rotated 90 degrees the visual element of the joke (where artistic licence dictates that the problems faced with actually wearing the top are ignored for the benefit of the gag) would remain relevant as the horizontal black and white stripes would be in the spirit of the stereotypical thiefs attire, whereas if the stripes were rotated 180 degrees they would remain vertical balck and white stripes and the visual element of this would be that it looks like... erm... a Newcastle top? Yours, A c*** (Mr)

sutty Posted April 16, 2007 Posted April 16, 2007 Hmmmm, you didn't mention which axis you were rotating about. It was clear to Gray FFS Its not hard
ManxRed Posted April 16, 2007 Posted April 16, 2007 It was clear to Gray FFS Its not hard There wouldn't even be any holes for his head or tummy FFS.
