Big E Posted April 11, 2007 Posted April 11, 2007 I was under the impression that the home leg was second but BBC says otherwise. Can anyone confirm? http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/e...res/default.stm

BDB Posted April 11, 2007 Posted April 11, 2007 (edited) Pat Dolan and the lads at setanta are well up for this. They say we are away first.Away at Stamford Bridge is important. Townsend thinks chelsea have improved most from 2005.. Dolan says Liverpool have improved most since 05 Edited April 11, 2007 by BDB
Earl Hafler Posted April 11, 2007 Posted April 11, 2007 Some BBC trainee nutsack probably heard we were home 1st in May

Mr Makaveli Posted April 11, 2007 Posted April 11, 2007 doesnt matter, we were drawn to be away first in the 1/4s and semis and ive known for a long time. Im positive, if im wrong you can skin me.
Guest Prongsy Posted April 11, 2007 Posted April 11, 2007 I watched the draw live. We are away first, home second leg.
Big E Posted April 11, 2007 Author Posted April 11, 2007 Thanks. I had searched UEFA and others but didn't get that page
neil33 Posted April 11, 2007 Posted April 11, 2007 it always was home leg 2nd , tyler needs to get his facts straight giving wrong info out maybe it's wishful thinking on his part final liverpool v ac milan , this time there won't be any 3 - 3 comebacks , we'll win it and win it handsomly

BDB Posted April 11, 2007 Posted April 11, 2007 I do recall us being drawn as the away team in the final

They have lost whatever fluidity they had, their wingplay, their momentum, their air of invincibility. Yes they are still tough to beat and they will be the hardest games of the season, but Chelsea better than 2005?
surf Posted April 11, 2007 Posted April 11, 2007 Cobs said: to be pendant no, it doesn't. i apologise. it has the winners of our semi-final listed as the team on the left for the final with the winners of the other semi final on the right. i drew the natural conclusion that the team on the left is the home team. how silly of me.

Joe Cole coming back has improved their attacking options and also playing Essien right back seems to add far more to that side then Ferreira (sp?). However, I think their bench isn't as potent as it was in 2005 when he used to throw on Gudjonnsen, Cole, Duff etc together to rescue games that were slipping away from them.
