A player is suspended after accruing 3 yellow cards from the first group game onwards (in 3 different matches), and then every odd number after that - ie total of 5, 7, 9.

 

Players on 2 yellows:

 

Liverpool:

-Pennant

 

Chelsea:

-Ballack

-Robben

-Diarra

-J.Cole

-Drogba

 

Man Utd:

-Evra

-Heinze

-Ronaldo

-Scholes

 

Bayern:

-Lucio

He got a yellow so had a ban coming anyway but ended up being sent off so he just gets the ban for being sent off and stays on 2 yellows. The dirty little t*** is bound to get booked again.

Van Bommel is still on two on that list and he was sent off in the last round game against Real Madrid and missed the q/f first leg against Milan so red cards must not affect the yellows.
