Cam Posted April 10, 2007 Posted April 10, 2007 Fecking hate Sanchez since '88 and the '01 semi. Good news is... we can send 'em down in the penultimate game
Elisha_Scott Posted April 10, 2007 Posted April 10, 2007 Seems like a great fella Chris Coleman, shame he got sacked. Can see him being back in footie soon though.
JohnnyH Posted April 10, 2007 Author Posted April 10, 2007 Agree. I hate Sanchez and was indifferent to Coleman. So all in all, I now hate Fulham.

anny road Posted April 10, 2007 Posted April 10, 2007 who the f*** do clubs like Fulham think they are?
stressederic Posted April 10, 2007 Posted April 10, 2007 Think it's always a bad idea to sack a manager at this point of the season.
Paul_LFC Posted April 10, 2007 Posted April 10, 2007 He didn't deserve this. Hasn't spent that much money, I mean theres hardly nothing between the bottom 10 clubs in the league. Its like a lottery at the moment. I hope they go down now...

stressederic Posted April 10, 2007 Posted April 10, 2007 Sacking him is going to put them in greater danger of relegation then keeping him on ever would.

Fulham will be looking at the likes of Reading and Bolton and wondering how those teams are doing what they're doing. I feel sorry for him but I don't think it's completely unfair or anything.

I do.......i think it stinks of everything that is wrong in football.... bolton and Reading are heading for a fall too....what happens when Bolton come crashing to earth say next season? Sam gets sacked for finishing 10th? its bulls***
Bootle Buck Posted April 10, 2007 Posted April 10, 2007 I think he will get a better job, seems like a very nice fella. Stupid decison to bring in a new manager at this stage. Especially one so inexperienced in this situation. Coleman would make a good national team manager.
Ben 23 Posted April 10, 2007 Posted April 10, 2007 (edited) He's done a very good job and signed some good players, while all his best players are being sold for him. Very harsh decision from Al Fayed - w*****. Can see Coleman either at Newcastle or Citeh though and hope he does well wherever he goes to be honest... with in reason obviously. Guest Cameron Posted April 10, 2007 Posted April 10, 2007 (edited) This could be a good move, I don't see them getting out of this rut with Coleman still in charge. I like him, comes across as a decent fella and not afraid to speak his mind but he's overseeing a slide into relegation and a change of scenery could help the club. Coleman was not helped by the fact that Al Fayed, after all his ludicrous promises when he took over the club, has seemingly forgot about Fulham and they haven't spent money needed on better players. Clubs like Fulham need to realise that for their fanbase, income etc they're doing well just to stay in the top flight. I know sometimes clubs suddenly see a short term improvement when a manager goes, and that may be all Fulham need, but Coleman's done a good job there all things considered. I can't see anyone else doing any better with them. When does the new Premiership money come in? Next season? Are the parachute payments going up accordingly? If not then I suppose that would make Premiership survival especially important this season. It's still very harsh on Coleman though.

I actually think he would benefit from some time as an assistant at a bigger club. I don't see him getting control of a top-half team. He'll be stuck in the Wigan/Charlton/Fulham groove for now.
