£440,000 Posted April 5, 2007 Posted April 5, 2007 Only four minutes gone and Spurs are one up and Alves is being stretchered off, though I think he'll be back. He's back.
£440,000 Posted April 5, 2007 Author Posted April 5, 2007 One all. Kanoute with a penalty that should never have been.
Benitez Posted April 5, 2007 Posted April 5, 2007 I reckon Tottenham will beat em over 2 legs. Sevilla have had a dodgy spell, and that defence looks even worse that Spurs.
anfield11 Posted April 5, 2007 Posted April 5, 2007 AZA and Werder, two of the most offensive teams around and not a goal yet.
Guest RedLegend Posted April 5, 2007 Posted April 5, 2007 The batons are out again. Chairs being thrown at the rozzers.
McBain Posted April 5, 2007 Posted April 5, 2007 Mental decision by the ref on that pen. How on earth did the ball go in that direction if Robinson didnt get hands on it

Gilps Posted April 5, 2007 Posted April 5, 2007 Can see why Robinson was pissed off about it. He was lucky not to walk once the ref had given it though. Kicking off again in the stands it seems.
anfield11 Posted April 5, 2007 Posted April 5, 2007 I think we're going to have to special order those shorts for Alves!! :-)

Nebraska Red Posted April 5, 2007 Posted April 5, 2007 did anyone see the huge flag in the Spurs end with "YIDS" on it? a massive St George cross with the word in the left bottom corner. why would they do that?
Guest RedLegend Posted April 5, 2007 Posted April 5, 2007 Spurs fans attacking the cops again at half-time.

Thats what they call themselves and thats what about 10,000 of their fans always chant every home game, along with "Yid army"
Cobs Posted April 5, 2007 Posted April 5, 2007 apparently it started off pre match group of about 50 or so Spurs fans were introduced to Mr Baton outside the ground not what we want to be seeing this, not good at all for English clubs.
Shirohana Posted April 5, 2007 Posted April 5, 2007 Only been watching since half time, but this ref's made some awful decisions...

Michael Posted April 5, 2007 Posted April 5, 2007 Tottenham could well be thrown out for this as no Sevilla fans were involved. It makes it a nice, easy decision for UEFA a la Feyenoord.
Mike Posted April 5, 2007 Posted April 5, 2007 tell you what, sevilla are not very good.considering spurs are an uper middle tier english club at best, does it say anything about the strengths of the respective leagues.

Sevilla are a good side but not as good as they think they are.
