chrisbonnie Posted April 3, 2007 Posted April 3, 2007 what a complete and utter c*** that man is watching the game on RTE, i honestly thought, for once, we`d get some credit, oh f***ing no ,what do we get, that fat baldy slug featured wenger nut rest having a pop at us, US, the team that just t****** his beloved employers on saturday, and have now thumped the s*** out of the team that put HIS EMPLOYERS out in the previous round "they dont play attractive football Bill" f*** off you silly prick, what should we do, play like Arsenal, dilly dally with the ball for 90 minutes, then give a soft goal away, kop on you slimy lazy c*** ill agree PSV werent the best team in the world, but they where just as s*** against them forieng dilly dally merchants in north london, you keep watching a million passes per game and no shots on in anger in May brady you f***ing nut rest, ill persoanlly be watching a game being beamed from athens, and we all know your f***ing dilly dally toss heads wont be there wont we, you prick!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! oh, and johnny giles can f*** OFF TOO phew, thank god thats off my chest, im actually out of breath now
dorgie Posted April 3, 2007 Posted April 3, 2007 Agree with all of that. But what is obvious from Brady's rant is that he realises that Rafa is tactically better than Wenger and that we are a bigger threat to ManU & Chelsea than Arsenal are. Says a lot when it took Trevor Steven to defend Rafa tonight.
Benitez Posted April 3, 2007 Posted April 3, 2007 we played better football than Arsenal did against PSV. This Arsenal w***fest about their 'great' football, is about as true as saying that Liverpool play boring football. It's just rubbish on both counts. Arsenal have played plenty of piss poor football over the last 2 seasons especially. And the biggest irony is, the one year they got to the final of the CL, they did so by being ultra defensive in a lot of their games and hardly scoring any goals.

JohnnyH Posted April 3, 2007 Posted April 3, 2007 Could John Giles have been any more complementary about Carra though?

Nerik Posted April 3, 2007 Posted April 3, 2007 This praising of a team that is 4th in the league and has won nothing in 2yrs as if they are the best thing since sliced bread is getting very boring. So f***ing what if Arsenal play attractive football Liam. Where has it got them this season?

Commentating equivalents of Salif Diao.pleat's tactical awareness and technical analysis is actually among the best on uk tv. it's his f***ing pronunciation of foreign players names that makes him such a c*** - like he's doing it on purpose.

I enjoy listening to Pleat`s informed commentary. Its the Richard Cranium he always has to sit with that does my dome in.
Cobs Posted April 3, 2007 Posted April 3, 2007 RTE punditry is fecking schite we established that after Barcelona.

That's true to be fair.
John am Rhein Posted April 4, 2007 Posted April 4, 2007 These RTE panelists do my head in. Giles is generally pretty knowledgeable and talks a lot of sense, but even he seems to be talking with some ulterior motive part of the time. Brady and especially Dunphy simply throw objectivity out of the window and go on irrationally about whatever they already happened to like/dislike before the game started. Whatever happened in the game is either presented as vindicating that position or ignored completely. Cobs said: RTE punditry is fecking schite we established that after Barcelona. BBC > RTE > ITV altough I think Giles is (usually) the best of any of them.
Cunny Posted April 4, 2007 Posted April 4, 2007 I actually think Pleat is one of the best football analysts/summarisers on television.
