Kahnee Posted April 3, 2007 Author Posted April 3, 2007 What are Arsenal's ticket prices like? You can't afford them on a Newsquest salary
Guest Prongsy Posted April 3, 2007 Posted April 3, 2007 What are Arsenal's ticket prices like? Stupid, absolutely stupid. It won't be modeled on that though, it will be a band of prices. 9k of hte 60k at arsenal are corperate seats, I would expect some big corporate stuff at the new anfield.
Duncan Disorderly Posted April 3, 2007 Posted April 3, 2007 "We're building a winning tradition" "We`ve given Rafa control of the academy"is what that says to me.
Kahnee Posted April 3, 2007 Author Posted April 3, 2007 (Co)Chairmen should be seen and not heard... Leave the old bugger alone
Guest Prongsy Posted April 3, 2007 Posted April 3, 2007 (Co)Chairmen should be seen and not heard... At least he says the right things and lets nothing slip. Like "yes we have given rafa a warchest"
LondonLiverpoolFan Posted April 3, 2007 Posted April 3, 2007 (edited) What are Arsenal's ticket prices like? Costs for our games against them, The last game at Highbury = £35.The first game at the Emirates = £46 Edited April 3, 2007 by LondonLiverpoolFan
Keita Posted April 3, 2007 Posted April 3, 2007 (Co)Chairmen should be seen and not heard... Peter Risdale mark 2.
Guest Prongsy Posted April 3, 2007 Posted April 3, 2007 Costs for our games against them, The last game at Highbury = £35.The first game at the Emirates = £46 They go sky high though £70-100 in a lot of places. or at least that is what my arsenal match going friend was blabbing at me the other night.
Andy-oh-six Posted April 3, 2007 Posted April 3, 2007 Peter Risdale mark 2. A cross between him and Hicks would be more like a Freddie Shepherd mark 2.
LondonLiverpoolFan Posted April 3, 2007 Posted April 3, 2007 (edited) Don't Arsenal make as much money per game from their corporate seats as we do from the whole of Anfield? RafaShanks Posted April 3, 2007 Posted April 3, 2007 Peter Risdale mark 2. He's probably ordered this for his Anfield offices:
Guest spk Posted April 3, 2007 Posted April 3, 2007 "We`ve given Rafa control of the academy"is what that says to me. completely agree. the point they are making is that it just isn't about money it's about developing young tallent á la arsenal. I'd be pretty surprised if there wasn't a US (perhaps south amarica) tour this summer with a major effort promotional drive made in that are where we've signed that youth club deal with 70,000 kids.

Seems at least a tenner too much imo (referring to the lower Cat B prices for Centre Lower £51 £35 Wing Lower £46 £32 Corner Lower £46 £32 Goal Lower £46 £32 with that statement as a ticket price for all but top class opposition) Crazy prices if the opposition is Boro or Wigan ffs Edited April 3, 2007 by DPD1973

reddragon Posted April 3, 2007 Posted April 3, 2007 reckon a ticket in block 203 will cost about £50 next season! Seriously though George would be making a big mistake if he thinks that we're gonna stand by and watch him fleece us [and if he's basing his pricing policy on the Emirates then fleecing us he certainly will be]. I'm all for the new broom - I've said a million times that Rita Sullivan could do a better job running the pathetic underworld emporium that is LiverWorld, but raising money by charging extortionate ticket prices to those who are the lifeblood of this club is going the wrong way. We already struggle to make any kind of atmosphere apart from those big European games, and making it more difficult for the average joe to go to every game [and so let the tickets go to once-a-year-wonders [who'll spend a packet in the shop too - a happy coincidence?] is going to make it difficult to create. How can you market something that you're trying to kill off? Don't get me wrong - I think G&T are good news, but as of yet it's all talk [about which I'm genuinely excited - they certainly talk the talk] - the proof of the pudding will be in the action.
