I hope......

And if it is the one I want I would love to see the look on his Chairman's fat face when he tells him he is off ;)

Now cue 45 pages of the normal **** unless this thread gets closed ;)

I've been saying this for weeks, TLWL (The Little Welsh Lad) is exactly what we need if he can get and stay fit.

I refuse to contemplate this after the disappointment of 2 summer's ago, when I was convinced he was coming home.

That said, you'd need a plastic surgeon to get the smile off my face if it happened :D

Personally speaking, I feel it'd be a step backwards. What with his injuries and what happened previously I think it's too big a gamble.

I agree.

He can f*ck off.

it'd depend on the price. It'd be a big gamble if it where some mad fee. But then, we wheren't willing to pay a mad fee for him before. Rafa may have more money in the summer, but I doubt that he'd be willing to part a big chunk of it on a player who's had such bad injuries, and isn't fit yet from his last one. But, at a lesser fee, he wouldn't be so much of a gamble.

Anyway, prolly won't happen, that ship has probably sailed, 3 times over!

Sorry but MOST players who come back after the knee injury he's got, lose some pace. That's one of his key assets

He's not a great headerererer of the ball, and is not exaclty in the "kuyt" league of teamworkers

But hell, the lad can finish...

FWIW, I'd be very surprised, although delighted

Many players have comeback from cruciate injuries just as good as before, if not better. Not as if age is a problem.

Anyway, this thread has been done about 50-60 times already on this forum. Is it really such a slow week?

s***ty international week

Would rather Villa or Eto'o but we're going to have to have a longer list than that and I don't think we can afford to discount Owen on that basis.

Not too many 'world class finishers' knocking around in world football at the mo.

No thank you - damaged goods, not that player he once was, not as fast, overrated to begin with .....................etc etc

time to move on
