matty Posted March 21, 2007 Posted March 21, 2007 Defending his teammate from a violent supporter who invaded the pitch at White Hart Lane, Drogba is alleged to have kicked him in the head, something that has unleashed the anger of the FA.The FA has confermed that it has received the film of the Quarter final replay, in which Chelsea won 2-1 against Spurs. At the end of the game the Blues celebrated in an 'exaggerated' way according to the Spurs fans, and encouraged one fan to enter the pitch and try to strike Lampard. But the incident, called 'unacceptable' by FA HQ, didn't stop there. The hooligan, identified as Timothy Smith, who has been banned for life from the stadium, has threatened to report Drogba to the police for an attack, after it emerged that the Chelsea striker may have struck him while he was on the ground. From TV replays. it appears that Drogba kicked him in the head after the fan had been restrained by the stewards. from Gazzetta.it
Eiler99 Posted March 21, 2007 Posted March 21, 2007 I think the FA has reviewed the video material and decided not to charge Drogba.
surf Posted March 21, 2007 Posted March 21, 2007 no chelsea players will be charged http://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/story?id...043&cc=5739
John am Rhein Posted March 22, 2007 Posted March 22, 2007 While I thoughroughly condonded that Spurs fan's attempt to t*** Lampard in the face - although not the pathetic execution of that attempt - I feel I must condone equally the kicking of a Spurs fan in the head by Drogba (Drogba the God, Drogba the Great, best player in the Lgeaue ® TM). Well done to everybody involved.

Well done to everybody involved. He deserves a kick from the best centre forward in Europe this season simply because he failed to punch that vile c*** Lampard in the face when he'd come so far.
San Diego Red Posted March 22, 2007 Posted March 22, 2007 The Italian media is too corrupt to believe.
