matty Posted March 16, 2007 Posted March 16, 2007 can't believe it's 5 years ago that they'd just won their 3rd european cup in 5 years, were signing all the best players in the world and seemed to have everything sown up....funny how things change, eh, Abramovitch?
psl Posted March 16, 2007 Posted March 16, 2007 Hoping to go see them this weekend if I can get tickets. Don't think the locals are going to be rushing for seats at the minute though so am quite hopeful!
Guest Posted March 16, 2007 Posted March 16, 2007 The true fan base want a revolution from within First three on the guillotine - Raul, Salgado and that pale imitation of a footballer called Helguera
Chili Palmer Posted March 16, 2007 Posted March 16, 2007 The true fan base want a revolution from within First three on the guillotine - Raul, Salgado and that pale imitation of a footballer called Helguera I thought the loved Raul?

They should never have let Mariano Rivera go.
Mike Posted March 16, 2007 Posted March 16, 2007 ken beckham f***ed them. he's like dutch elm disease he is.
crisps Posted March 16, 2007 Posted March 16, 2007 Really can't see Madrid recovering any time soon.. They seem to have dropped the galactico policy and if you score 9 we'll score 10 and invested in some decent youngsters but every coach they have they expect them to perform a miracle in a season which isn't always possible... would hate it if LFC was like Madrid.
Foo Posted March 17, 2007 Posted March 17, 2007 Perhaps it was a but daft to kick del Bosque after winning the League and CL in one season? Serves them well in my not so humble opinion.
Magic8Ball Posted March 17, 2007 Posted March 17, 2007 Perhaps it was a but daft to kick del Bosque after winning the League and CL in one season? Serves them well in my not so humble opinion.anyone who wins the league and CL deserves another season IMHO - you cant do much better than that reminds me of Bobby Robson at Barca
Duncan Disorderly Posted March 18, 2007 Posted March 18, 2007 Horrible clubWhat do you expect from fascists?
Guest The_Drunken_Clam Posted March 18, 2007 Posted March 18, 2007 The Real Madrid board lost the plot a long long time ago.7 managers since 2003, they never give them enough time to show their worth.First they get to bring in a couple of players they want, then they have to sort out the players that the previous manager brought in.Instant sucess ? , no, bring in the next manager. Now they are complaining about Capello being far to defensive etc, so they want Mourinho or Benitez. Logic
Guest Linton Posted March 18, 2007 Posted March 18, 2007 ken beckham f***ed them. he's like dutch elm disease he is. To be fair he is one of few players who have knuckled down. Their fans like his attitude on the pitch.
fyds Posted March 19, 2007 Posted March 19, 2007 atheismMussolini was a good catholic, as was Franco.
stressederic Posted March 19, 2007 Posted March 19, 2007 Mussolini was a good catholic, as was Franco. He can't have been that good at it, or God would have intervened.
sean Posted March 19, 2007 Posted March 19, 2007 I wouldn't exactly say it was Beckham's doing, but it was his type of signing that sent them in the schitter.
rikf Posted March 20, 2007 Posted March 20, 2007 Think there biggest mistake was selling Makelele to the chavs
