Villa game on TV in USA

Over here in the states we just had daylight savings time change this past weekend. From what I understand this is three weeks early and the rest of the world isnt switching at the same time. Is this true? Have you guys over there not changed time yet? If so that means that we are no longer 5 hours behind, but rather four (on the east coast). This means since it a 1:35 KO on merseyside, (what kind of KO is that anyway?) its actually a 9:35 kick over here in the eastern standard time. I point this out, one to verify that this is the case and two too make sure that other America-based reds know about this as well since my Tivo is currently reading a kickoff time of 8:35. A couple of years ago I missed the first hour of a Saturday morning match because you guys switch time on Friday night and we switch on Saturday resulting in one day where our time zones arent parallel.

Is it on FSN? I bet not, we've had about 2 Liverpool games all season.

It's not on fox. Probably Setanta, which is no good where I am, as we only have cable.

And in terms of the original post - you are correct, British Summer Time only starts on 25th March. I wish the UK did what the yanks are doing this year - 2 more months of more evening day-light...

It is on Setanta as has been almost all matches this season. I've hardly missed a match, other than maybe a league cup tie, in nearly two seasons. if you have cable or cant otherwise get setanta you can get it thru this service:

http://www.itvn.com/index_setanta.html?s=3...p;t=0&c=497

I dont have it, but i know ppl who do and say that other than some occasion buffering it works perfectly fine. It makes sense to look into getting this service bc this year setanta has sublicensed matches thru Fox but next year actually have their own piece of the pie not only over here, but in Britain too I believe. Coverage is rumored to be much expanded next year.

Starting in 2007, daylight time begins in the United States on the second Sunday in March and ends on the first Sunday in November. On the second Sunday in March, clocks are set ahead one hour at 2:00 a.m. local standard time, which becomes 3:00 a.m. local daylight time. On the first Sunday in November, clocks are set back one hour at 2:00 a.m. local daylight time, which becomes 1:00 a.m. local standard time. These dates were established by the Energy Policy Act of 2005, Pub. L. no. 109-58, 119 Stat 594 (2005).

Not all places in the U.S. observe daylight time. In particular, Hawaii and most of Arizona do not use it. Indiana adopted its use beginning in 2006.

In 2007, daylight time begins on March 11 and ends on November 4. [New law goes into effect.]

In 2008, daylight time begins on March 9 and ends on November 2.
