CarraLegend Posted March 11, 2007 Posted March 11, 2007 Went off injured for PSV today, dunno what it is or how bad it is as PSV's s***ty site wont load properly. It'd be a shame if he was out for a while, dont like seeing anyone injured.
surf Posted March 11, 2007 Posted March 11, 2007 http://www.psv.nl/web/show/id=118705/contentid=20498 Hamstring apparently. Doesn't say how long he's likely to be out for though.
Shirohana Posted March 11, 2007 Posted March 11, 2007 Having a scan tomorrow according to their site. Says he felt something rip, which, according to Koeman, will put him out for the rest of the season. Could be good news for us if true.

surf Posted March 11, 2007 Posted March 11, 2007 Kone's expected to be back for the match against us.Alex is doubtful.
slapnuts Posted March 11, 2007 Posted March 11, 2007 Do Chelsea own Alex? Or did I just make that up?
Shirohana Posted March 11, 2007 Posted March 11, 2007 Do Chelsea own Alex? Or did I just make that up? Nope, you is right. Something to do with getting a work permit I think. I'm sure I read he'll be playing at Chelsea next season, if they get it all sorted out.

crisps Posted March 12, 2007 Posted March 12, 2007 Thought I read that he's still not got into the Brazil side, hence a WP is still going to be hard to get. some quite good youngish brazilian centre backs about at the minute... I'd prob run a mile if i saw alex and luisao coming after me!
Shirohana Posted March 12, 2007 Posted March 12, 2007 PSV Eindhoven have confirmed that defender Alex will miss their UEFA Champions League double-header with Liverpool. The Brazilian central defender tore his hamstring at the weekend whilst in Eredivisie action against Excelsior. Alex, who scored the goal which knocked Arsenal out in the previous round, was still hoping to be involved against Liverpool in the quarter-finals next month - but it has now been confirmed that he will not feature. PSV have revealed that scans have confirmed a partial tear, which means Alex is likely to be sidelined for around six weeks. Here Bad news for the lad, but extremely good news for us. Really rate him.
