I'm an Arsenal fan, and have been wondering for a good few years how Barcelona have managed to fool everyone into thinking they're the mutts nuts....I was convinced that we would show them up for what they really are in the final last year, but a red card contrived against us. You guys showed them up for the fair weather beach footballers they truly are.

Fair f***s to you, and given that we're halfway out, I ask you only one thing.......PLEASE DO f***ING CHELSKI.....!!!!!

Cheers mate, but its a bit harsh explaining our success away on fairweather footballers. Barca are a quality side (as were Milan, Juventus, Chelsea etc etc) We can't keep beating these top sides just because they're not as good as everyone thinks they are or they're having a bad day or they have off the field problems. Our organisation and discipline stops teams playing and is highlighted by the limited number of shots on goal these various teams have managed to amass over the last few years.

s***, sorry, dont get me wrong, thats not what I meant at all. I take nothing away from your performance, what I meant was that the way you defended over the 2 legs, made them look like fairweather footballers. I have never heard of Arbeloa before this tie, but how two-bob did he make Messi look tonight? Ronaldinho was so f***ed off by the lack of space he got, that he looked like Mr Joe Average. Even the dirty filthy Chavs never frustrated Chelsea to that extent.

No worries.

You dont really think your gone tomorrow night

surely?

First team against first team, we have every chance.

What you saw against Barca tonight applies to us as well. A team that has inexplicably regressed, not helped by key injuries.

In answer to your question, yes, I think we're gone.

I think the common denominator between yourselves and Barca is the lack of a Plan B, when the one-touch, fluid football isn't working against more physical, well-organised opponents. I also think that you both tend to over-elaborate with possession sometimes.

You've been buried by hype from the TV and media this year mate, 'Oh, the wonderful Arsenal youngsters etc' - and they are very good but they ignore that you're a team in the middle of a transformation, not currently anything like the finished object...too good for most, but on occassion, it goes wrong. If you do go out tomorrow, keep your powder dry - you'll be back...don't let the media give you premature delusions of grandeur.
