St Davids Day at Primary School...

All the kids at my daughter's primary school were asked to come in dressed in a way 'reflecting some aspect of Welsh liffe, culture or sporting achievement' - despite the fact that in Chepstow the only Welsh person I know runs the Chippy at the bottom of Mounton Road and is of Chinese origin.

So...we had the usual turnout of girls in postcard style costume with cardboard hats, boys in rugby gear or dressed as miners with balckened faces (no stereotypes then)...and my daughter. She saw this as an opportunity to wear one of her Liverpool kits and go as Craig Bellamy! She even did the 'golf club' swing celebration. Her teacher was confused :D
