From 'ere

I sometimes think that if we could have Bellamy running at defenders and carrying the ball 20 yards, then turning into Fowler with the goal in sight, it would be perfect.

:D

We can talk about Robbie's future at a later date, but if he scores every time he plays over the next few months, you never know.

"You need a regular supply of goals from someone and if Robbie is not with us next season we will have to look for another like him. It will not be easy, but it is clear we would need someone with the same qualities."

And this begs the question, just who IS Voronin replacing....

That is the first clear indication this year that Mikey is finally on his way home....................

He did well to last 90 mins on Saturday - which I doubt he would have done is Crouch had not got injured

you could see he was f***ed though. he hardly runs and when you're knackered your touch deserts you - as in that ball in the box at the end of the game which he let slip under his foot.

Yerp

I thought he looked f**ked at the end of the first half!

Those were the comments that excited me most, this is exactly what we need and its great that Rafa knows this too. We have 3 very good hard working team strikers capable of maybe 10-15 goals a season. What we need now is a Robbie Folwer aged 20 type player, someone that will get the 20+ goals a season.

Plenty of Arsenal fans convinced that they will sell Henry to us in the summer, possibly to fund a bid for Et'o.

Still seems unlikely to me but no-one thought Wenger would sell Vieira when he did :detective:

begs the question:

who would suit us better Eto'o or Henry ?

rumours say we're not looking at those two but at Trezeguet and Bojinov

Eto is still only 25 so his best years could be ahead of him, if we had the chance to sign someone like Eto i think we'd have to take it, hes exactly the type of striker we need to compliment what we already have.

Wonder if Rafa will consider Darren Bent? Another good finish on the weekend and already got 9 in 22 this season to go with his 18 last season in a p1$$ poor Charlton side.

Not saying we should sign him but if the likes of Eto'o, Villa etc prove difficult to sign he could well be worth considering.

a west ham mate of mine is convinced that deal is done ... but as a replacement for crouch as we've agreed to sell him to newcastle.

Pretty interesting that. Got any more info?

Got a soft spot for Crouchy though, would hate to see him go there.

There's a bloke he knows works for one of the sundays i think. Dunno if it's someone off a forum or a mate from the pub (he did tell me i just can't remember!). He's been spot on before. He called the Lucash Neill thing way before it happened or broke anywhere - although he did think it was because Hughes was trying to push Neill to West Ham to get Konchesky in return! But he has got plenty of other things in the past. He seems to think the lad is kosher and the deal is nothing to do with if west ham stay up or not. I can't see it meself, but just thought I'd pass the info on.
