Ticket Question

My Man Utd ticket has never arrived (they said it has been sent). Never happened to me before, but the TO have said you just present your credit card and fan card on the day to get a duplicate. Is that right?

 

Don't want to turn up and have to get all "Michael Douglas in Falling down" on the poor people behind the glass.

the only time thats happened to me, when I went to get a duplicate ticket (about an hour before the game), they said I'd have to come back just before kick off, get the ticket, and get escorted in by a steward, in case someone had 'found' the lost ticket and was using it.

 

Wasn't impressed really, who wants to go queuing up five mins before kick off, knowing you won't then get in till way after the game had started!

Cheers - not the best game to have to do that for either really. I did wonder what they'd do if they found a geezer dressed in Royal Mail uniform sat in my seat

This has happened a lot of late, but don't worry as i deal with the ticket office manager for supporters branch tickets, you will be issued a duplicate ticket, I know its happened to me a few times. Some of my tickets have turned up days after the games been played.

happened to me with my season ticket one year, and the TO were as good as gold on the day. Handed a replacement over with half an hour to spare and just told me to go see the nearest steward if anyone was in my seat, none of that walking in with you business.
