I thought Arbeloa did really well in this game. I was just thinking how much weaker we could have been if we had to play Neill

 

If he can adabt to the pace of England I think we could have Hyypia's replacement in the squad. A really early call after one game but he showed good quality against Barca.

he was at fault for their goal, got sucked in when the centre alf had it covered ad left deco unmarked, but apat from that he did well and im sure he'll settle into the side.

I was very impressed with him considering he hadn't played with any of his team-mates before. I still maintain (as discussed on match thread) that the cross should have been cut out at source and Gerrard was at fault for that. Gerrard had a great 2nd half though.

nah risse was bad at times tonight, but arbeola was only a few yards behind agger and no attacker was running in between them. Its easy to scapegoat risse at the moment as his general level is poor, but arbeola got drawn in when there was no need and left the player at the back post. i dont think he had a bad game, but he was more at fault than JAR for the goal

dont agree, the centre halfs cover the middle of the goal and the full back should be covering the back post. i'm not knocking the lad as i hink he;ll learn our system, but its unfair to have a go at risse for this goal as deco was not his man.

know feck all about him, never seen him play before but he did well tonight. Great debut and one of only 25(possibly?ish) LFC players to win in the Nou Camp.

He was great tonight, one of the lads who played well. His block that prevented the goal was so vital and this lad has got much more to come. I like the look of him.

completely. blaming riise is almost harsh 'cos gerrard missed a gimme challenge.

gerrard was at fault for our goal. ifyou dare say anythign again, i swaear i'll kill you. Im not blaming gerrard outright... before beryong jumps.. but for that goal.. f you are going to blame anyone then blame gerrard.. otherwise you clearly have no balls and hense your actual praise of gerrard means little... I love gerreard more then everyone else here ... but he made a very slight slip up.... it was actually tiny...Its a shame we even rate players on thsi level... it barely went past him.... but it did....however, im glad that he didnt foul him.

 

anyway, besides the usual s****...the lads were incrdeible... but i wanted to say how good carra was tonight. im not fro liverpool so im not so full of s*** as loads of fans are... but carra was so sexy tonight. It is reallyannoying that carra wont get the praise he deserves after tonight.

 

 

I really think that the site should at least make some kind of dedication to the man ... he really was amazing. dont want to take away from the others.. they all played so so so well... my god i love them all.........

 

they should all be proud... even bellers,,,i reallyhope the golf thing isnt true... cause i love riise.
