Bologna Posted February 20, 2007 Posted February 20, 2007 Being in a shed, isn't something to brag about.Fair enough, but I still had a great view of the game.
dorgie Posted February 20, 2007 Author Posted February 20, 2007 ESPN Classic is one hell of a channel. Agreed. A comprehensive lesson on pre-Premiership years for those who don't remember, or who don't want to remember. Some of the football we played in that game was superb. Could have been 7 or 8 only for a few dodgy offsides & a (thin) Neville Southall who was in fantastic form. Some of the fat arses on display is hilarious too....the shorts didn't do some of them any favours.
smithdown Posted February 20, 2007 Posted February 20, 2007 On again this avvy. Villa away from 84 on tonight at 10.
Cunny Posted February 20, 2007 Posted February 20, 2007 On again this avvy. Villa away from 84 on tonight at 10. was that the Friday night game on the BBC that we won 3-0, Rush hat-trick? I has a massive poster on my wall of Rush celebrating one of his goals from that game - the tag line was 'More Than Lira Can Buy'......well for a couple of years anyway!

Cunny Posted February 21, 2007 Posted February 21, 2007 I always forget that Villa scored first in that game.Terrible conditions, like playing on an ice rink, which makes Rush's second and third goals even more impressive.
oojason Posted February 21, 2007 Posted February 21, 2007 (edited) 3.00 today is us vs Brugge from 1978 - that should get us in the mood for tonight - top channel - if only I had satellite away to QPR from 1984 highlights on at 10.30 tonight as well Edited February 21, 2007 by oojason
