matty Posted February 19, 2007 Posted February 19, 2007 Inter have broken the all-time European record for consecutive league wins, with 16 after the defeat of Cagliari on Saturday. Obviously this needs to be properly recognised, so post your tributes to Robbie Mancini's black and blue army.
jimmylibel Posted February 19, 2007 Posted February 19, 2007 Mad that. They're showing consistency the one season they probably don't need to!
Gilps Posted February 19, 2007 Posted February 19, 2007 Mad that. They're showing consistency the one season they probably don't need to! Amazing what you can achieve when there's no pressure on, isn't it?
Coyler Posted February 19, 2007 Posted February 19, 2007 Did Celtic not win 20-odd in a row last year or the year before?
Leo No.8 Posted February 19, 2007 Posted February 19, 2007 It's like Tim Henman beating Roger Federer, but having started the game leading by two sets and five games to love up. For some reason.
_00_deathscar Posted February 19, 2007 Posted February 19, 2007 And 40-0 up in the sixth game of the last set.
AE Posted February 19, 2007 Posted February 19, 2007 Bit of a Micky Mouse league now isn't it.When the big team gets back and the other big team are allowed to complete equally if may become vaguely interesting.Until then I guess it will be just be about little teams, the sort of which say, cheat to win European Cup semis (1965)
matty Posted February 19, 2007 Author Posted February 19, 2007 I repeat my personal view that Milan should be given back the 8 points they were deducted this season. That puts them 22 points behind now. It's ON!!!!
jon_hall Posted February 19, 2007 Posted February 19, 2007 Not hard though to be ON. The rest are even worse than we are.
Leo No.8 Posted February 19, 2007 Posted February 19, 2007 Inter's new signing is reportedly looking forward to some top class flat track bullying...
Nebraska Red Posted February 19, 2007 Posted February 19, 2007 this season of Italian football should be written off and struck from any record books. the scandal, and subsequent actions taken by the Italian FA, have ruined the league and the standard of footy is pretty dire to say the least. this may well be the first title won by a team that WILL have a huge asterisk next to it in the record books.

Why this season? The season when the cheats have been punished and the innocent finally got chance to play fairly?

Guest Kaizer Posted February 20, 2007 Posted February 20, 2007 This season is completely worthless, lets see how they do next season when the big boys are back on the scene, Inter are a bunch of cheats.
