fyds Posted February 13, 2007 Posted February 13, 2007 It's a good chance to encourage players from other leagues to go in hard on a few mancs!
Coyler Posted February 13, 2007 Posted February 13, 2007 Jesus. What did they call Europe before Manchester United joined?

Stevie H Posted February 13, 2007 Posted February 13, 2007 Jesus. What did they call Europe before Manchester United joined?the european cup.
Gomez Posted February 13, 2007 Posted February 13, 2007 What is the point? Just can't see the point of doing this midseason.
Falconhoof Posted February 13, 2007 Posted February 13, 2007 Seems like us allowing 2 of our most important players to help raise the profile of Man U. Keep the tills ringing, selling shirts, dvds, Man U toilet brushes and Alex Ferguson official incontinence pads.
Benzo-13 Posted February 13, 2007 Posted February 13, 2007 Load of rubbish.. Hope they get niggles before it and are stunningly fit for our following game..
Paisley Posted February 13, 2007 Posted February 13, 2007 What a pointless friendly - maybe just about acceptable in July as a pre-season friendly, but why in the middle of March? That club is so full of it's own self-importance. What are they celebrating anyway? The most successful club in European footballThe most successful English team in European footballThe most succesful team from Manchester in European football Come on Lille...
floyd Posted February 13, 2007 Posted February 13, 2007 Can't believe 2 of our players are helping those sh1thouses out, to commemorate 48 years of failure. Not on at all
Stevie H Posted February 13, 2007 Posted February 13, 2007 This is beyond daftsurreal isn't it? surprised at rafa letting players take part in a pr stunt.
£440,000 Posted February 13, 2007 Posted February 13, 2007 surreal isn't it? surprised at rafa letting players take part in a pr stunt. Beyond surreal. What do you reckon are my chances of getting a World XI together to play for my fortieth in October? The game's a lunatic idea.
Mr Makaveli Posted February 14, 2007 Posted February 14, 2007 lads the PR stunt was going to go ahead anyway... why not have it so that 2 of the 3 players from the premiership were from liverpool fc? bit of PR work on our part to have 2 of the Euro 11 coming from liverpool. Sure the game is against man utd... but they are playing a dreamteam 11.. Im chuffed to be honest.
Spike Posted February 14, 2007 Posted February 14, 2007 lads the PR stunt was going to go ahead anyway... why not have it so that 2 of the 3 players from the premiership were from liverpool fc? bit of PR work on our part to have 2 of the Euro 11 coming from liverpool. Sure the game is against man utd... but they are playing a dreamteam 11.. Im chuffed to be honest. Where's the PR? Two players from the nations most successful club playing against the second most successful :puzzled:
Guy_Incognito Posted February 14, 2007 Posted February 14, 2007 They should insist on wearing the 5 times badge on their sleeves.
Stevie H Posted February 14, 2007 Posted February 14, 2007 They should insist on wearing the 5 times badge on their sleeves.
Guest Anders Honoré Posted February 14, 2007 Posted February 14, 2007 they should concentrate on injuring mancs with careless tackless.
Knoxy Posted February 14, 2007 Posted February 14, 2007 If you're feeling the need for one of those 2 footed lunges Steve, now's the time
Mr Makaveli Posted February 14, 2007 Posted February 14, 2007 Where's the PR? Two players from the nations most successful club playing against the second most successful :puzzled: ? 2 players representing europe. simple
JRC Posted February 14, 2007 Posted February 14, 2007 Imagine the outcry if no Liverpool players had been picked...deliberate snub....in denial of our greater success.....etc. etc.
floyd Posted February 14, 2007 Posted February 14, 2007 Imagine the outcry if no Liverpool players had been picked...deliberate snub....in denial of our greater success.....etc. etc.No, the outcry is those sh1thouses pretending to be a European super power, and celebrating this fact. Almost as bad as these cvnts coming second in the FIFA team of the century. Fvckin laughable
Stevie H Posted February 14, 2007 Posted February 14, 2007 Where's the PR? Two players from the nations most successful club playing against the second most successful :puzzled:the pr stunt is entirely united's. we should have nothing to do with it.
Mr Makaveli Posted February 15, 2007 Posted February 15, 2007 It is a utd PR stunt yes, however it is utd against a euro 11. they are just utd , celebrating some s**** but the euro 11 is a pick of some of the better players around europe. the fact that 2 liverpool players in there is good for our clubs image too. I know what you guys are saying about utd and i agree , however there is something to be gained here for us too and aslong as they take it easy and get no inuries to our lads then i'll be happy for the rest of europe to be watching liverpools players who were good enough to make the select.
