How many extra points would one outstanding attacking player get us

If we had one of the following in our team how many extra points do you think we'd have this season:

 

Henry

Drogba

Rooney

Ronaldo

 

I think with any of those we'd have at least ten points more.

 

I really haope Rafa, as he's hinted at, buys sparingly this summer but buys absolutely top quality attacking players. One really top level attackin gplayer would move us on a lot IMHO.

Its funny that Drogba is in the list. When Chelsea signed him, most people thought he was good but never going to be a worldbeater. He has developed his game at Chelsea and its only now that you are seeing a world class player. The same is true of show pony. He was slated at first, everyone said Ferguson had lost it.

Henry, lost at Juve and had to earn a reputation.

 

We may well need better upfront but its far harder to identify who will become one. Kuyt has the makings of one and he hasn't done too badly, this could turn out to be his tricky first season and he'll be more assured in front of goal given time.

 

In summary, break the bank and sign Villa ;)

said it all along. we need a goal scorer, kuyt is a second striker, as is bellamy.

 

check out the scoring charts for the league. manu chelsea and arsenal all have two players at the top of the goal scoring table with 10 goals or more each. we haven't got one player with 10 goals.

Last time I saw Quaresima he had as much talent as C Ronaldo but just wasnt using it - I'm not sure he knows how to use his talent now and he's older than C Ronaldo

plus his asking price is 12-15m :o

 

Sadly I dont know Nani - anyone able to give me the low down on him ?

 

 

Alves is tailor made for us ;)
