boohog Posted February 8, 2007 Posted February 8, 2007 Having started to get a bit too formulaic on the BBC of late, he's back to being a legend again after his comment about Lampard last night, saying: 'He scored about 17 last season. With about 400,000 shots.'
Gilps Posted February 8, 2007 Posted February 8, 2007 Hardly excuses his bizarre Carrick fetish though, does it?
Ian Garro Posted February 8, 2007 Posted February 8, 2007 Hardly excuses his bizarre Carrick fetish though, does it?Michael Carrick is Danny Murphy - with time and space on the ball, an excellent player, in a congested midfield with competent opponents, a luxury you cant afford. 18m for him.....
hideNseek Posted February 8, 2007 Posted February 8, 2007 We kep slagging Manc players off, but there still top of the league.
Cliff M Posted February 8, 2007 Posted February 8, 2007 We kep slagging Manc players off, but there still top of the league. Respect due.
Guest anfieldanfield Posted February 8, 2007 Posted February 8, 2007 We kep slagging Manc players off, but there still top of the league. Carrick isn't the reason they are top of the league mate. Put Nicky Butt behind Scholes, Rooney, Ronaldo and Saha and you wouldn't notice much of a difference.

OK, so he was bollorks for England, and is unlikely to ever show the ability you'd expect for an 18mill signing, but when he wins the prem, that won't really be of concern to him or the Mancs bosses.
