Armin_Tamzarian Posted February 6, 2007 Posted February 6, 2007 Connie posts on rawk occasionally. I'll pass on the compliment.
New York Red Posted February 6, 2007 Posted February 6, 2007 Connie is the driving force behind the supporters club. She seems to do everything. A good woman.
DonRafa Posted February 6, 2007 Posted February 6, 2007 yeah interviewed over the phone. she came across really well and very knowledgeable for a yank Yes, I thought that too. Perhaps Tom & George (how I wish his name was Jerry) should hire her as a consultant. She certainly understands what LFC is all about
New York Red Posted February 6, 2007 Posted February 6, 2007 Jeez, what do you think we're all a bunch of f*cking morons over here? The American's who love Liverpool really LOVE Liverpool. It's not easy being an LFC fan here. It takes a lot of work, commitment, and very often you never get to talk to anyone about your passion. You sometimes have to get up at 6:00am just so you can watch a game on the tele. Still, they hang in there.

George Costanza Posted February 6, 2007 Posted February 6, 2007 Caught it myself. Thought it was a very good interview. An excellent representation for all American Liverpool supporters.
Guest ConnieLFC Posted February 6, 2007 Posted February 6, 2007 Damnit ? who let her on Well done Connie ? now it might be time to slap cohen around a bit you think?Thought you boys had sorted him out already? My pleasure...a Bronx special might be in order! And re John Barnes - I know I came in past his glory years but better late than never, eh? Have tried to make up for it via the wonders of video technology...one of my heroes, at any age!
New York Red Posted February 6, 2007 Posted February 6, 2007 Who wants to answer that? Why don't you give it a try. Tell Hank to fire off my new T-Shirt to me Connie! Will wears mine down the Oakie all the time.

I've also noticed a lot of unneccesary piss taking of the American view of the game. However, I know many Reds fans who although have never been to Anfield, Liverpool or even Europe still eat, sleep and breathe this everything this club does. Edited February 6, 2007 by Bootle Buck

If they've never been, they don't come at all close to eating, sleeping and whatever else. Not the same, sorry.
Guest ConnieLFC Posted February 7, 2007 Posted February 7, 2007 Know it's a long shot but if anyone would have a copy of the interview, I'd be most grateful...thought it was too much to ask for it to be on SSN tonight. Have asked the woman I dealt with at Sky but if anyone on here also happened to record the broadcast (or knows anyone who did), please let me know. Thanks very much!

New York Red Posted February 7, 2007 Posted February 7, 2007 No such luck Connie. I had it on Tivo earlier but I deleted it. Isn't it on again tonight? Like at 5am?. maybe even at noon tomorrow.

RP Posted February 7, 2007 Posted February 7, 2007 Well done, Connie. Truly the exception that proves the rule. Two rules in fact.
