Jimi Rojo Posted February 6, 2007 Posted February 6, 2007 I teach Robbie's niece so I get a few titbits (and signed stuff ) after each visit back to the UK There is interest from the US. he's thinking about it but his wife doesn't fancy the uprooting and moving the kids away from the family. In his own words 'I've been rubbish' at Liverpool since returning and he knows his time is up in the summer. One of my favourite players........it does seem definite now we will be saying goodbye i couple of months.

He's done nothing to merit another contract
johngibo YPC Posted February 6, 2007 Posted February 6, 2007 Thanks - but I could have told you that for nothing about last September. He's done nothing to merit another contract you knew last september that his wife didn't fancy moving to America?
Cobs Posted February 6, 2007 Posted February 6, 2007 Poolfrog is the Fowler Oracle - our very own Barbara Woodhouse, if you will.
Nerik Posted February 6, 2007 Posted February 6, 2007 At least we had him back once again and he did score 10 goals.
Maldini Posted February 6, 2007 Posted February 6, 2007 Thanks - but I could have told you that for nothing about last September. He's done nothing to merit another contractYou've been telling us that for three of four years
Mr Makaveli Posted February 6, 2007 Posted February 6, 2007 Thanks - but I could have told you that for nothing about last September. He's done nothing to merit another contract ehhhhhh I love Robbie and Im glad he came back to us even if he didnt get much time of the pitch.. he scored some goals and even though id like to see him offered another contract I think the trip to america would be a good idea. also I know that he wouldnt see much of the pitch here next year.. its a shame but its reality.
Benzo-13 Posted February 6, 2007 Posted February 6, 2007 Thanks - but I could have told you that for nothing about last September. He's done nothing to merit another contract Blow it out your A**e... Robbie's contribution to Liverpool FC will always be remembered regardless.. A Total Legend.
Guest Scot Posted February 6, 2007 Posted February 6, 2007 All the best to him, whatever he does. Would be nice if he gets to say ta-ra on the pitch. Will we now retire his jersey into the rafters?
Cobs Posted February 6, 2007 Posted February 6, 2007 Will we now retire his jersey into the rafters? No. 9, No.11 & No.23
Frosty Jack Posted February 6, 2007 Posted February 6, 2007 Indeed, there has to be some kind of abdication ceremony?
Guest Scot Posted February 6, 2007 Posted February 6, 2007 Indeed, there has to be some kind of abdication ceremony? Handing over the ermine before he joins Moores in the Ceremonial Enclosure.
Jimi Rojo Posted February 6, 2007 Author Posted February 6, 2007 It was great just to have him back!!!!! Hopefully he can knock in a few more in front of the kop and get the send off he deserves this time.
DonRafa Posted February 6, 2007 Posted February 6, 2007 Indeed, there has to be some kind of abdication ceremony? But, but, who will take his crown?
Guest Scot Posted February 6, 2007 Posted February 6, 2007 It was great just to have him back!!!!! Hopefully he can knock in a few more in front of the kop and get the send off he deserves this time. Score against the Mancs....
psl Posted February 6, 2007 Posted February 6, 2007 I hope he gets the last goal of the season, at the Kop end.
nrkintheuk Posted February 6, 2007 Posted February 6, 2007 In his own words 'I've been rubbish' at Liverpool since returning Thought he did pretty well last year, has been a bit disappointing this year and hasn't got the games. Should have got more of a chance when Bellamy was misfiring. I notice that in the offal's Big Interview everybody always picks him for 5-a-side though
abc Posted February 6, 2007 Posted February 6, 2007 If my count is correct isn't this his 10th season at Anfield? Testimonial?
Guest Scot Posted February 6, 2007 Posted February 6, 2007 If my count is correct isn't this his 10th season at Anfield? Testimonial? nah. Not in favour of that.
SkippyjonJones Posted February 6, 2007 Posted February 6, 2007 Can?t LFC ? sorry ? LSC ? just give him a house in L4 ? they own enough don?t they?
Gary Wolf Posted February 6, 2007 Posted February 6, 2007 I think the trip to america would be a good idea. At least there will be someone to beat some s**** out of Beckham Will miss him really, one of my favourite players.
