hideNseek Posted February 5, 2007 Posted February 5, 2007 Can you give a run down of what he said, please?
Guest Kev Posted February 5, 2007 Posted February 5, 2007 Can you give a run down of what he said, please? Wanted to know why the Everton fans are demanding an apology for what Rafa said, then therefore Michael Shields family should get an apology for the songs sung about him, and wondered if Everton Football Club would apologies to the families of the Hillsborough victims for the vile songs their fans sing about the disaster. And Antony was very clear when he said Liverpool citizens and not Liverpool supporters.

Guest Scot Posted February 5, 2007 Posted February 5, 2007 'we're not aware of such songs obviously they're not to be condoned if they're actually being sung but, Ant Everton can't be responsible for what a tiny minority of its fans sing on a matchday. Don't you think Liverpool can be held responsible for the manager's inflammatory comments?'

Guest Scot Posted February 5, 2007 Posted February 5, 2007 .....because making a comparison about people singing about the death of others from the same city is the same as a football manager making an offhand comment about a rival being "small". mate, not my opinion. Just the sort of sh*te I expect them to spout in response.
IgPig Posted February 5, 2007 Posted February 5, 2007 (edited) mate, not my opinion. Just the sort of sh*te I expect them to spout in response. Sorry - should have mentioned I understood it wasn't you saying it. edit - i thought you were quoting what they'd actually said. f*** it - I am off to look at porn. Much less chance of misunderstanding. Edited February 5, 2007 by Post Kuytal Glow
theredfella Posted February 5, 2007 Posted February 5, 2007 Chip off the old block Quality stuff, mate, you must be proud of your lad. Is he on there in an official capacity or is it a fans phone in etc?
Guest Kev Posted February 5, 2007 Posted February 5, 2007 Quality stuff, mate, you must be proud of your lad. Is he on there in an official capacity or is it a fans phone in etc? Nah, apparently the show wanted younger fans to phone in so he did. He is a lot more level headed than me, I reckon a DNA test is the next move.
SkippyjonJones Posted February 5, 2007 Posted February 5, 2007 I reckon he's got a case for Emancipation..
