Gerrardrules Posted January 30, 2007 Posted January 30, 2007 Reina --> most consistent Crouch --> A goal and an assist on his birthday Alonso --> Always one step ahead
Morse Posted January 30, 2007 Author Posted January 30, 2007 Why Crouch? I thought he was fairly average today to be honest...his goal aside. For me Alonso was great and his passing is just beautiful.
Knox_Harrington Posted January 30, 2007 Posted January 30, 2007 Why Crouch? I thought he was fairly average today to be honest...his goal aside. For me Alonso was great and his passing is just beautiful. Involved in both goals, worked hard and missed enormously when he went off. Xabi worked hard and played some fantastic balls but there was a few very casual touches from him, Gerrard, Hyypia, Kuyt and - yes, this is criticism of the great man - Finnan.
charlie clown Posted January 30, 2007 Posted January 30, 2007 (edited) 1) Alonso2) Reina3) Carra Alonso's yellow carded shirt swap attempt with Reo-Coker was worth the award on its own. Edited January 30, 2007 by charlie clown
Rimbeux Posted January 30, 2007 Posted January 30, 2007 Reina Crouch Bellamy Not a lot to choose from
Hassony Posted January 30, 2007 Posted January 30, 2007 AlonsoReinaHyypia Riise. Not XabiFinnanCrouchI thought Riise had his best game for a while and looks like getting back his form
Beardsley Posted January 30, 2007 Posted January 30, 2007 Can only be one after this game - Alonso.Reminded me of a good, old fashion brit CM.Worked his socks off. Got stuck in. And his passing was good.---Riise had his best game? Ehhhhh, no. Except for his pass for the second goal, he had a 100% stinker. Nothing came off. He pulled away from tackles (as usual) and his passing was....s***t.

Beardsley Posted January 30, 2007 Posted January 30, 2007 i think thats harsh on Riise he was ok no better no worse No, he was utter crap.
anny road Posted January 30, 2007 Posted January 30, 2007 No, he was utter crap. well thats that then eh
Knox_Harrington Posted January 30, 2007 Posted January 30, 2007 No, he was utter crap.I'm as frustrated with Riise as anybody but that's well out of order. He made a great tackle on Harewood, he set up the second, he worked hard and he won some big headers in our box at the end. I can see him going at the end of the season and all but to say he was utter crap just makes a mockery of the whole thing.
