Swagger Posted January 28, 2007 Posted January 28, 2007 Another very good game from Lennon, this time against Southend. Very good winger, for 1m pounds. Not bad, especially considering the fees demanded for young English players. If only ...
_00_deathscar Posted January 28, 2007 Posted January 28, 2007 Benitez: Is there a winger in this squad still who would do what the manager asks?Pennant: You wish now, that Lennon had been bought, and I had been at Tottenham. Is that not what you wish father?Benitez: Yes. That is what I wish.Pennant: Then I shall go now and do what you ask. Think better of me when I return.Benitez: That shall depend on the manner of your return. Okay I'm high...

JonShar Posted January 28, 2007 Posted January 28, 2007 Is this the first ever thread about Aaron Lennon or SWP that WASN'T started by Sammya?
Cam Posted January 28, 2007 Posted January 28, 2007 If only ...Somewhere in forumland... Liverpoolway's head right now is:
Paul_LFC Posted January 29, 2007 Posted January 29, 2007 Lennon was on fire on Saturday. He was absolutely superb and that ball he put in for one of the goals was just pure class especially the build up.
PhilM Posted January 29, 2007 Posted January 29, 2007 ...who are rubbish and have never beaten anyone of any consequence...

Leo No.8 Posted January 29, 2007 Posted January 29, 2007 But to be fair Lennon has taken the p*ss against the likes of Chelsea as well. I didn't see any of the game against Southend but I think he's f*cking brilliant. He's just so quick with the ball at his feet its unreal.
galés rojo Posted January 29, 2007 Posted January 29, 2007 He will probably end up at the Manc's if they sell C Ronaldo this summer.
Guest Anders Honoré Posted January 29, 2007 Posted January 29, 2007 Why on earth would they sell ronaldo?
galés rojo Posted January 29, 2007 Posted January 29, 2007 Why on earth would they sell ronaldo? If Madrid etc want him and he wants to go then hopefully they wont have much choice.
Leo No.8 Posted January 29, 2007 Posted January 29, 2007 I'd pay £15m for Lennon tomorrow - thats how good I think he's going to be. Wingers with his kind of destructive potential are so few and far between. Wonder whether Spurs would sell for that kind of money?

Why on earth would they sell ronaldo?if he refuses to sign a new contract they might
Flasher Posted January 29, 2007 Posted January 29, 2007 SWP was as good before he left Man city, and would be cheaper than Lennon IMO. Not that either will happen anyway.

Think Lennon has a lot more natural ability than SWP, he is a fantastic dribbler/ball carrier something that we do really lack.
