Mike Posted January 24, 2007 Posted January 24, 2007 Great Finnan cross for the first one.Finnan is the best crosser at the club. Discuss he isn't.he's very good though.
Gomez Posted January 24, 2007 Posted January 24, 2007 The keeper for the first one was crap, he should have dived if only for asthetic reasons.
RafaShanks Posted January 24, 2007 Posted January 24, 2007 I reckon it nailed on for Crouchy to do it again against Barca.
Jeff guitar Posted January 24, 2007 Posted January 24, 2007 Imagine if Rooney or Henry or even Gerrard had scored either one of those goals they would get far more coverage. Can't wait till he's wheeling away with 3 fingers up to the crowd and then 4.........

Can't wait till he's wheeling away with 3 fingers up to the crowd and then 4.........Not many people can stick out a leg that far behind them and do that, he did it on Saturday too when the ball went behind him in their box, Kop end, I honestly think their defenders thought it was safe, untill he stuck out a leg to control it and the hit it on the turn towards the far corner. Very hard to defend against and might make up abit for his heading.

Tosh Posted January 24, 2007 Posted January 24, 2007 if our wide players could put in a decent cross for the lad to attack, we wouldn't need his skills to retrieve balls played behind him
johngibo YPC Posted January 24, 2007 Posted January 24, 2007 if our wide players could put in a decent cross for the lad to attack, we wouldn't need his skills to retrieve balls played behind him they do. He heads them straight at the keeper
HK Posted January 24, 2007 Posted January 24, 2007 they do. He heads them straight at the keepertrue.
surf Posted January 24, 2007 Posted January 24, 2007 So our wingers are too good, they should put in poorer crosses.

Kite Posted January 24, 2007 Posted January 24, 2007 Finnan is the best crosser of the ball at the club, at the moment. No contest I'd have thought. And if only Crouch knew how to head the ball away from goal keepers, he'd get 20 in the season
muleskinner Posted January 24, 2007 Posted January 24, 2007 The captain is the best crosser of a ball at the club, if not the Premiership.
Mike Posted January 24, 2007 Posted January 24, 2007 Who is then? Yep. pennant is better than him, obviously.and gerrard is better than pennant...being the best crosser of a ball in the country.
Guest Scot Posted January 24, 2007 Posted January 24, 2007 pennant is better than him, obviously.and gerrard is better than pennant...being the best crosser of a ball in the country. Not that it matters. Crossing is pointless.
