Imagine if Rooney or Henry or even Gerrard had scored either one of those goals they would get far more coverage. Can't wait till he's wheeling away with 3 fingers up to the crowd and then 4.........

Not many people can stick out a leg that far behind them and do that, he did it on Saturday too when the ball went behind him in their box, Kop end, I honestly think their defenders thought it was safe, untill he stuck out a leg to control it and the hit it on the turn towards the far corner. Very hard to defend against and might make up abit for his heading.

if our wide players could put in a decent cross for the lad to attack, we wouldn't need his skills to retrieve balls played behind him

And if only Crouch knew how to head the ball away from goal keepers, he'd get 20 in the season
