Honeymoon Help! Where to go!

I've spent most of the past fortnight looking into possible destinations for the holiday of a lifetime with my fiancée. At this rate I'll be lucky to want to go on one with her.

The story is she's not too fond of flying... it's not the flying that scares her but the terror she feels when the doors of the plane are locked. We fly quite a bit over and back from Ireland to her home in Yorkshire and she braves it all the time because she tells herself it's only an hour. We have been on a 4 hour flight to the Med previously. That's almost the longest she has traveled.

I really had hoped that I would have been able to persuade her to explore some distant paradise for this one time. It's not going to happen though. By giving some real gentle reassurance I've not given up on the Caribbean..... Not yet anyway. At the same time I need to show understanding of her anxieties.

Although we're in Ireland the online selection through Virgin Holidays and Thomson appeals more than anything Irish holiday retailer is offering (mostly packaged Mediterranean). I'm going around in circles and keep looking at places I'd like to go. When I research the hotels I go into www.tripadvisor.com to check them out there always seems to be some whinging f*** that puts me off the place. My approach is all wrong I think... That's why I'm here.

Can anyone help with a suggestion or two????....... Let it be a link or a destination... Maybe this thread can be of help to others too...

I'd really appreciate any suggestions. Someplace you've been or a good link to put me on the right track

Criteria

Hotel/Villa on a beach (away from larger cities unless something really special)

Luxurious (Well it is a honeymoon)

Flights not much more than 4-6 hours (8hrs seems to be pushing it)

Not full of 18-30's (although we are both 30)

Budget up to £5000 but less would obviously be nice

Nice to haves

All-inclusive

Spa

Golf (would she notice me slip away?)

A good book (so she won't notice me slip away)

Booked through one agent with one up-front price.
