SSN claim YNWA is a manc song

Why have SSN suddenly raised this issue today? If i remember correctly there was a bit of a hoo-ha about this a couple of years ago when a demented old manc lady bleated to the press about how angry she was that Liverpool FC are always associated with YNWA when she claimed they sang it first despite having no evidence and no one to back her up.
