anfieldgaz Posted January 21, 2007 Posted January 21, 2007 First i didnt know if to put this in general but as it has a liverpool connection i put it here, sorry if in wrong place and a romario. I have it on good authority that Mr Morgan is on the verge of buying Wrexham Football club. With our own investment nearly done Mr morgan shares will be part of the sell out. Also a certain Mr Roy Evans is on the short list as manager with Dean Saunders as number 2. Morgan will but out the current owner of Wrexham, Mr dickens.
cochyn Posted January 21, 2007 Posted January 21, 2007 Sounds good for Wrexham. What's his long-term plan for them?
anfieldgaz Posted January 21, 2007 Author Posted January 21, 2007 Sounds good for Wrexham. What's his long-term plan for them? Long term investmant and wants to see them climb the leagues. Also off the pitch there will be some commercial side to the investment.
Guest Phil C Posted January 21, 2007 Posted January 21, 2007 Sounds good for Wrexham. What's his long-term plan for them? Lots of houses...

fyds Posted January 22, 2007 Posted January 22, 2007 he used to walk to the ground as a kid, you know.Ah, but which one? He won't if they want to climb the leagues! He won't because he's already said so - he likes his life just as it is.
Herbie von Smalls Posted January 22, 2007 Posted January 22, 2007 Ah, but which one?once the ink's dry on the takeover contract... the racecourse ground
Big G Superhero Posted January 22, 2007 Posted January 22, 2007 Lots of houses... It probably is actually, I think they're planning on turning the stadium around 90 degrees to free up land to sell... Either way, interesting time to buy when they're on the verge of relegation to the Conference... methinks this is about more than just football
Bald Devil Posted January 22, 2007 Posted January 22, 2007 Roy won't be their manager. Director of Football type role as I hear it.
