Guest Kaizer Posted January 18, 2007 Posted January 18, 2007 (edited) If you look at those numbers there has got to be something wrong, compare Rafa`s and King Kenny`s numbers. And only Souness and Houllier have lost more games, not really comforting is it? Edited January 18, 2007 by Kaizer

Puskas Posted January 18, 2007 Posted January 18, 2007 If you look at those numbers there has got to be something wrong, compare Rafa`s and King Kenny`s numbers. And only Souness and Houllier have lost more games, not really comforting is it?You have to take into account the team that each manager was inheriting as well, as that has a big bearing on those numbers. Rafa's win percentage is excellent. I'm not sure that win percentage figure for Dalglish is correct. I have sneaking suspicion that if he won 61 out of his first 100 games his win percentage should be 61% not 51%

And no I was not serious about the stuff about Rafa, I would not replace him with anyone.
KBR Posted January 19, 2007 Posted January 19, 2007 You have to take into account the team that each manager was inheriting as well, as that has a big bearing on those numbers. Rafa's win percentage is excellent.Very true. Players like Biscan, Diouf, Diao, Cheyrou etc were hardly likely to help matters

Ronnie Whelan Posted January 19, 2007 Posted January 19, 2007 I would take Paisleys success off a 54% winning ratio, compared to the success 74% brought Morinho.
WillG Posted January 19, 2007 Posted January 19, 2007 If it's in The Express, why no stats on, Diana? *fumes*Cos it's a fecking cover-up - we wanted her to take over the running of the academy and that bast*rd Fergie did her in *sobs*

Rimbeux Posted January 20, 2007 Posted January 20, 2007 Kenny inherited a better team than Rafa did .... Way off the pace at Xmas were we not, called the worst side Hansen had played in during his time by the man himself, pulled apart and rebuilt soon after. It's a debate
John am Rhein Posted January 20, 2007 Posted January 20, 2007 Sorry, didn't come out too clearly. Hope you can make sense of it. Mourinho's f*cking brilliant
